Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Chaguanas. The Borough of Chaguanas is the largest borough (83,516 at the 2011 census) and fastest-growing town in Trinidad and Tobago. Located in west-central Trinidad, south of Port of Spain, north of Couva and San Fernando, named after the indigenous tribe who originally settled there, it grew in size due to its proximity to the Woodford Lodge sugar refinery. It remained a minor town until the 1980s when it began to grow rapidly as it drew people for its bargain shopping and moderately-priced housing. However, its rapid growth has seen property values increase dramatically.

We are a small, quaint food shop that serves a lunchtime spread of English, Chinese and local dishes. We are best known for our pot pies, that can rival any to be found in the British Isles.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find really great sumptuous lunch dishes at such awesome prices. Good prompt service. Immaculate seating and serving areas Polite staff Decent parking Will definitely return

Visited for dinner to satisfy our craving for Hakka's food with delightfully intricate and unique flavours all delivered with exceptional customer service in a cozy amazing ambience!Hats off to our server Mr Agenon who delivered the best service we have ever experienced in Trinidad & Tobago! We've been to Hakka many times before but this time we had the best service. The hot and sour soup as well as the wantons are mouthwatering! Just go, don't think twice!

Food is excellent here as always. Service is average depending on who you get to serve you. There is timely arrival of food, wonderful ambience especially around Christmas time. However, if you are looking to spend quality time with your significant other, Fridays and Saturdays tend to have a noisy crowd on evenings

The restaurant is in the midst of a lower income area but it is beautifully designed with taste and class. There were adequate amounts of attendants but the behavior was a bit unprofessional for the price point of the restaurant. The food was average except for the shrimp which was horrible. This reistuuranr needs to train the servers better and make significant improvements to the quality and taste of the food.

The Rise holds it own in a neighborhood crowded with more prestigious or better equipped / furnished competitors. It achieves this by providing the atmosphere and ambiance well appreciated by its custobers. The food is not five-star but it is still tasty and you get fair portions...
Ordered food to takeaway for lunch for my family. They were able to prepare the food in a short time and it was still very tasty! They have a special offer of free wantons when you spend a certain amount, those wantons were awful, however the extra portion I ordered were good! The prices were good for the portion size as well! Good for takeaway service!

Eponymous tandoori chicken was not the best, somewhat dry, but khurma and butter chicken were abulous, as were nons and samosas, and very good gulab jamun. The staff was very helpul and pointed out where one can buy the best Indian spices or which Trinidad is famous bearing in mind Indiasn settles mid 19th century.
