A small, atmospheric restaurant serving top quality food. One can leave here with an expensive Bill, however in our group of 8 we ordered two Entrees to share, four Mains to share with a large bowl of special rice plus a large bowl of vegetables and nothing more was needed....apart from a delightful Alto Aldige white from the north of Italy and a Paringa Peninsula pinot. My companion thought that the Bill was reasonable for such fine dining.

Great little restaurant that has been an institution in Brighton for years. Never has the standard dropped with food or service. Has a function room upstairs that is perfect for small medium parties etc. Their lunch special is excellent value and delicious. Canât go wrong here.

The Potsticker Asian Dining in North Caulfield is our neighbourhood gem. The food is always delicious, attractively presented and the surroundings are elegant. The service is polite, efficient and friendly without being too intrusive. On our last visit we were celebrating our son's recent awards and had a long and yummy meal. We started off by sharing the Shanghai Juicy Pork Dumplings, the Red Chilli Chicken Dumplings and the Phoenix Combination dumplings plus a traditional Crab Claw. Perfect. They really got the tasty buds dancing. Next came a Steamed fillet of barramundi with ginger, spring onion and soy, fillets of beef in a special sesame sauce garnished with broccoli and snowpeas and a dish of Char Kway Teow noodles. The beef was tender and melt in the mouth and paired beautifully with the sesame sauce.The fish was subtle and finely textured by comparison yet rounded out the meal nicely. The Char Kway Teow had all the delightful smoky flavour of the wok,(what you can never emulate at home); my son loved them. Whilst this was a huge meal, my boys still managed to fit in dessert and ordered the Fried Ice cream and the Creme Brulee. Impressively, they both came to the table flambe. The Potsticker is in the quality of its food, service and ambience in the realm of one of the top end CBD Cantonese restaurants but without the stress and expense of parking or the steep bill at the end of the night. Thanks for another memorable meal!
