Was introduced to this restaurant many years ago. Was happy with them then, still happy with them now! Good food, reasonable prices, attentive and friendly service plus easy parking, what more can one ask for?We always ask the restaurant to recommend their signature dishes but this place went beyond that. After savoring her recommended asparagus beans, she even gave me a tip on how to cook it at home! I was so surprised and impressed at their ease and confidence in divulging their trade "secrets". Later on when I went vegetable shopping, a vendor discouraged me to buy said beans, claiming that it is "not nice". When I told her a restaurant manageress taught me how to cook it, her eyes grew as big as saucers! Ha! Will definitely go back again!

We are a steamboat (hotpot) restaurant located in the center of Cameron Highlands, Tanah Rata. We serve steamboat (hotpot) and single platter. In addition to dining in the restaurant to enjoy our environment, we also provide delivery. Cameron Highlands is
Was curious with good reviews of this place especially the mention of their sweet corn broth. Tried them with half of tomyam. Both are disappointing. Sweet corn broth is very plain. Tomyam is without Tomyam taste but just the super spicyness. Condiments are not great as well. We opted for the RM49.90 set for two. Varieties are not great, meat is only 2 prawns and some kind of minced meat, no idea what meat. Taste is bland. Drink is tasteless too. Regretted coming here to try it out. Went back to my favourite steamboat place the next evening.
Steamboat is good. Service is friendly and patient. The restaurant offered free review of vege for the steamboat. Hi, appreciate that giving us full point rating and positive comments about our food and service. Glad that you enjoy dining at our restaurant. Here we have lots of fresh vegetables where are free flow when taking steamboat. Welcome when back to town. Thanks again.

May Flower Restaurant, Ferm Nonya and C Buddy forms a triangle on the same street. For old school ambience, and the promise of Pork Shoulder (çªæï¼we went with May Flower. We were not disappointed! The skin was soft and melted in our mouths, the flesh fell off the bone. We also had the beansprout with salted fish (sprouts were very fresh and crispy but I found they used the very pungent salted fish which I found too overpowering), the baby kai lan (very good) and a watercress soup (too much ginger). The fu yong egg was faultless. Also added a Kong Po chicken which we could have done without. No cashews and the chicken a bit chewy. Overall a good meal. Four stars for the braised pork shoulder. Almost every other table ordered the steamboat.

We went here because I wanted to try the famed âsteamboat,â however you need at least 2 people and my bf was not keen on it. Instead he got chicken rendang, which he loved. I got a variation of Tom yum soup which. Was also good. The staff was friendly enough and most spoke Chinese as well as English. The only complaint is that the food is a little pricey but I think thatâs to be expected here in a touristy type area.

We went there at around 5.30pm for dinner but the place was already full and we would not get any table. So we asked whether we can RSVP - the answer is NO but we can wait or return back. We did not as we have toddlers and children. I guess the food may be good, but the attitude we experience was bad.

We really enjoyed the authentic old fashion way of having steamboat which uses charcoal, with freshly grown organic vegetable; that somehow made the food tastier. We were given two choices of steamboat sets: vegetarian and non-vegetarian. We opted for the non-vegetarian set, we were served with a fairly large portion of fresh prawns, chicken, cuttlefish, jellyfish, about ten types of vegetables, brown rice, rice noodles, eggs & some fish balls plus the chicken soup was really sweet and delicious. I would highly recommend this place as I would definitely visit this place again! After your meal; you could buy organic vegetables to take home.

We don't usually go for this type of cuisine, but thought we would give it a go and was pleasantly surprised.Luckily, the menu (which is in both English & Chinese) had 'Recommended' items, which we generally stuck to. We went for the slat and pepper squid, butter fried chicken, egg-fried rice (with ginger), and a traditional rib hot pot with Chinese herbs. I would recommend all of them. We were warned by the lovely waitress that the flavours of the hot pot might be too strong for a western palet, but it was fine. The waitress there is absolutely great. She's personable, funny, pleasant and welcoming.

Recently went on a trip to cameron highland with my family. Not knowing where to visit, we went on trip advisor and found this Cha Ren Tea House. Saw many good reviews and decided to go experience it ourselves. We reached there and were immediately welcomed by the friendly hosts. They showed us many different types of tea and also taught us the proper way of drinking tea. It was indeed an eye-opener. For those who are in cameron highland or planning to visit, this place is definitely highly recommended and you will definitely feel at home under the warm hospitality of the friendly hosts who will do all they can to make your visit an unforgettable one.

Absolutely incredible experience! During our two week trip this was the best place we ate! The staff showed us what to do and were happy to make unlimited broth for us to cook our ingredients in! The food was amazing! We ate until we physically couldnât anymore! Iâd go back in a heartbeat!
