Very good takeout. Menu has all the familiar Chinese take out selections including 5 different steamed "special diet" dishes, Szechuan and Cantonese Specials and Combination Platter. The combo platters ($7.25) include egg roll and pork fried rice. All was tasty, fresh and generously portioned. The kitchen is clearly visible from the counter and looked clean. Food was ready for me in a reasonable time, no waiting. Pleasant service and convenient location, near Winn Dixie.
I have not been to King's Wok in several years. I didn't hate it before it just was average. Last night I gave it another try and was glad I did. Food was well prepared and flavorful. Not sure what the difference is but will definitely be paying more attention to them in the future.
we went here because it was close to our hotel, next to a pizza place & a beef o bradys. shrimp toast was hard, dry & old, actually tasted freezer burnt. steak kabobs were good. ribs were burnt & hard, friend shrimp was definitely frozen & hard as a rock. beed with broccoli was boring & plain, not much to say about the pork fried rice. the wonton soup oodles were soggy & mushy.the crab ragoon was nothing more than runny cream cheese.. egg rolls were ok. we spent 50.00 & pretty much threw about 40. of it away. its only busy because its the only Chinese to eat. go elsewhere- the pizza place next door is better!
When you hear the term "Mom & Pop" restaurant, this is exactly what you have here. Delicious food, prepared in a small kitchen, and brought to your table directly from the stove. Limited seating, but have never had to wait. They do a constant take-out business, with a drive-up door for pick-up. To sum it all up ... you get good food, friendly service, and low prices. Great combination. Cash or credit, plenty of parking. Hope this helps with your first visit.

Small ⦠but mighty! Definitely not a large restaurant, but the food is authentic, tasty, and affordable. Menu entrees include a column of $6.99 delights, including soup. Treat yourself to one of the many flavors of "milk" tea, or fruit teas ⦠delicious. There is always a steady line of people ordering take-out, so they must be doing something right .. in the kitchen. Cash or credit, booths & tables, ample parking. Hope this helps with your first visit.

This buffet has been in business for quite some time. I used to live here and frequented it regularly. Having moved back recently, I was anxious to try it again. I arrived at 630 for the dinner version. I really don't like being negative, but this was just a mess. From the tasteless soups to the cold, dried out fried appetizers on my first trip I knew this was not my old favorite buffet of the past. If my eyes had been closed, I could not tell the difference between chicken, beef or pork sample dishes that I tried. All very bland, chewy and awful. All shrimp items came complete with the nasty dirt vein that should be removed. I understand peel and eat are an exception but all? They had tiny packets of tartar sauce if you felt like wrestling with those, some melted " butter" which was so off-tasting I believe it was liquid shortening/ oil. Just yuck. So on to the dessert selection. Stale almond cookies, stale palmiers, very dry mini cakes, gloppy rice pudding and foul fake cream creampuffs. The one and I do mean one bright spot was the sesame balls. They were light and delicious. I even tried very small portions of the American section of food, each offering worse than the one before. Canned, watery orange macaroni and cheese, fake mashed potatoes and we won't even discuss the poor salmon filet. As an added bonus, halfway through my meal, a large family was seated at two tables beside my both. They proceeded to act as if there were no other diners in the place. VERY loud Spanish-speaking men and undisciplined children literally took over with staff totally oblivious. I felt very uncomfortable and finished shortly thereafter. On the way out, even the koi pond had seen much better days; funky, fishy smelling water I thought I had smelled on the way in and was correct. What an all- around disappointment. This is a place for those seeking quantity with no regard or tastebuds for quality.
