We used to frequent this venue several years ago. We've moved to Arizona and just tried it again while back in the Quad Cities. Seems to us as if it had gone down hill a bit.We both had chicken dishes for lunch... the chicken was a bit "rubbery". Everything else was a bit non-descript. Hopefully, our experience was an anomaly...There is quite a bit of competition in the market for Asian and in this price range in Bettendorf/Davenport....the venue itself is quite plain... nothing truly inviting about Food Lee these days.... hope they get a bit better
When it comes to Asian foods, I grew up with the stuff. Korean, Japanese, Indian, etc. I've had it all. Now Most of Chinese and Japanese foods come into mind, it's either the stir fry or the hibachi grill. I walked in here thinking that it would be just like any other Chinese food that I've eaten. Heavy, greasy type of feeling when I ate here. The service was very knowledgeable about the dishes which was a plus in my rule book. I ordered the Hibachi chicken with a side of Gyoza. When the main dish came out, it liked any normal hibachi chicken I've seen. BUT, when I've tried it, the chicken was moist, juicy, and the sauce wasn't heavy at all. The veggies were cooked through as the taste of the sauce wasn't killing the flavor of the veggies too. I overheard someone asking what oil that they were using as the cook came out and talked with another customer that she uses vegetable oil. That did the trick for me, Normally when Chinese restaurants cook, they would use Peanut oil or something that would be a really high smoke point to cook their food. Sometimes this taste would be a very flavorful, but heavy taste. Too much for me would result to be nauseating feeling for me. But not this food, every bit I took, the chicken and veggies were moist, but cooked. I would have to say that I would recommend this place. Though that they have a small list to choose from when it comes to food, but give it in due time, this place is really good for people who have either a peanut allergy, or if they're willing, fry up some tofu and make some dishes that would be really light and plentiful for vegetarians. Either way, this place though it might look like your usual Japanese fast food/ dine in restaurant, the food here will taste a lot better than other places.

Ordered a take-out delivered to our hotel. The food arrived quickly, the price was very good, the food was fresh and tasty and the portions were HUGE.

We were shopping and hungry for Chinese food and found this with Siri's help. We were seated and brought water, hot tea, and I think fried wonton chips. Hubby ordered cashew chicken with steamed rice and I ordered the shrimp lo mein. Both came with egg drop soup. Hubby doesn't like to try anything new so skipped the soup. I also ordered an egg roll. The egg drop soup was wonderful. It was cold outside and it was like sitting down to Mom's chicken noodle soup. Excellent. The egg roll wasn't greasy inside, which was good and the flavor was delicious. Sometimes they are over cooked but this one was not. Just right. Hubby finally bravely tried my soup and decided next time he would get it! He liked it His cashew chicken was very different than what we had in Springfield, Missouri where it was first made. But he liked this light version. Lots of veggies. My lo mein was didn't have the oily sauce taste that I am used to so it needed the spices and veggies to hold the taste and it did that. liked it. Lots and lots of shrimp.We will definitely be back to try other dishes.
