The dumplings are amazing and the portions are ample and perfect for sharing. I also love the Chile WonTons...like dumplings in a spicy chile sauce. Shannon(maitre d) is so cordial and our food has ALWAYS been delicious. There is a round table with lazy susan perfect for a large group to order lots of different items to share. We've tried things we've never had before such as Chile wontons, and kimchi. There are large monitors with Chinese interest shows, some educational, and a running pictoral of the foods on the menu.

China Chef II in Peak Plaza by Food Lion has become our Go-To for local Chinese carry-out. Our favorite dish by far is Roast Pork Lo Mein. Unlike the other Chinese carry-out places we've tried, China Chef Lo Mein is not very oily, but seems to have more of a soy sauce presence. Overall effect of good ingredients and cooking that is not full of oil results in the absolute best Lo Mein around. Other dishes have been good, but we keep coming back to the best, the Lo Mein.
I have been a long time customer of China Chef, but I must confess I've never eaten IN the restaurant. We always get take-out! The restaurant is modest but nice and very clean. The people are genuinely nice and quite friendly. Occasionally the kids will be doing their homework at one of the tables. The wife takes the orders and runs the register. Her English is fair but if you engage her in conversation she converses well. Their menu is typical for a Chinese restaurant and the good is very good and affordable. If you're in the area, try their take-out!

We ordered General Tso's, Sesame Chicken, and Szechuan Chicken. Only the Szechuan was actually chicken, but not very spicy. The other two (fried) are nothing more than a bread ball of goo. Very gross. The Fried rice isn't - it is bright yellow like a saffron rice. No eggs, and only veggies were a few onions. Definitely will never go back.
