Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Antelope. Antelope is a census-designated place in Sacramento County, California, United States located approximately 15 miles (24 km) northeast of downtown Sacramento and 5 miles (8 km) southwest of Roseville. Fast and friendly service, everything we ordered was good, very large portions (particularly the rice). The prices were reasonable.
I was staying at the nearby La Quinta hotel (less than 2 blocks away), and wanted a convenient dinner at about 8 pm on a Thursday evening. This Panda Express still had a good number of entrees and sides available, even though it was probably a bit past the prime dinner hour. I find the food at Panda Express to be consistently good, although I always wish they had more "health"options - low fat, in particular.

We have passed by this little place several times as we were wasting time at the Grocery Outlet store. We finally gave it a try tonight and I am absolutely blown away as the food is great and the portions and the price is great. They do most of their business in take out as we viewed when we were seated. It was a little slow on the service side tonight as they may have been short a waitress or the take out is 1st priority, I am not sure. This does not sway my desire to return at least once a week from now on.

We have visited this restaurant so many time since it opened and Fat City in Sacramento... Alway consistently great food and service. Sometimes there is a wait for a table, but that is because they are good! Lots of variety and something for everyone.

My husband and I ate at this restaurant about three times. Each time, the food was very fresh and presented beautifully, but it just lacks the flavor that my taste buds are screaming for. The spring roles are great, but I like them with peanut sauce, and the peanut sauce is very bland. Yes, I know that I can just add some hot sauce, but the peanut sauce itself is just tasteless. I ordered a noodle dish that was tasteless as well. We will try it again, but I'm hoping that they spice things up a bit.

We have a winner! In an era where too few Chinese restaurants actually have Chinese cooks, this place stands out. The portions are enormous - scary enormous. The pork appetizer was at least a pound of BBQ pork! Sure the place is in a crummy part of town, frequented by losers of all sorts, but these enterprising folks are serving up a Hole in the Wall style meal. Nothing fancy, but the food is honest and rich, and the service concerned, helpful, and earnest. If you like Chinese, go to this restaurant!
My friend suggested beijing gourmet restaurant to eat a good chinese meal for lunch.I had Lemon chicken with rice and it was so good. Filled me up and my friend eat walnut shrimp, which was also very good and filling. We will return for lunch again.
Called in a takeout order for ten people and upon pickup, they boxed up the order and very kindly carried it out to my car.Everything was delicious from the General Chicken to the Kung Pao Prawns to Beef Broccoli - yummy! If you're looking for a good meal with plentiful portions served with a smile, you've found the right place.Thank you China Gourmet!
We are very picky about Chinese food and when our favorite restaurant changed hands, and the quality of it's food, we went on a search for a replacement. We tried several in the North Highlands area as well as Rancho Cordova. Highland Chinese Restaurant is the only one that met our requirements for flavor, ingredients and value. Every time we walk in the door, the hostess remembers us and remembers our usual order without having to be told. She is amazing. The food is loaded with flavor, tons of vegetables and meat, unlike many that skimp on ingredients but add lots of noodles to bulk up the order. We normally order takeout, but have eaten in house and the quality, value and atmosphere are outstanding. We highly recommend this lovely little restaurant to anyone who appreciates good Chinese food. The location is in a strip mall at the corner of Walerga and Elkhorn Blvd., rendered almost invisible from the street because of JimBoy's tacos, and other fast food places up front. Don't be deterred, it is worth pulling in and looking for it.
We enjoy their various entrée selections such as General Tso chicken & orange chicken whenever we go. This time it seemed as though the dishes were rather greasy. They post the calories, but I question if they correctly factor in the serving size. The restaurants are very loud when kids are there.
