Dinner with friends in this wonderful country hamlet. The food is five star, the setting is wonderful but the cherry on the cake was the enthusiastic service from the owner who evidently has a passion for what she does. Really a rarity!Don't leave florence without a dinner or a stay here!Dear Anto A, are reviews like these that make you want to commit more and more in your work, and it is precisely at times like these that fatigue begins to be felt that a review like this makes you all the energy needed to continue with the smile.Thank you so much, we hope to have you back as our guests very soona big hug Giulia and all the staff of "Al 588" :)

Artisan sandwiches filled with salami Tuscan dishes, cutting boards and croutons. sale of exclusively Tuscan wine, organic oil of the territory, jams and honey from small local producers.
We were warmly greeted, advised and helped by the owner who made the effort of speaking French with us. He also had menus in a lot of different languages which is very rare. My first time trying panini wasnât disappointing at all, it was delicious! Cheap, tasty, made with quality ingredients and large portion too! Bread was crispy, there was a lot meat (not too much bread). Also very well-located in Florence. I can only recommend and would totally go again and try other panini and boards/plates. Thank you!!

Our first night in Florence and chose this restaurant from the reviews. In typical Florence style it was a small place but nicely turned out. We had starters and main course, including the steak as recommended, a bottle of wine and a beer. Thank goodness we had pre-booked taking advantage of the 50% discount. The bill was â¬90 after discount. The steak was 'ok' according to my husband but we felt it wasn't worth the large price. Waiters were satisfactory and polite. Would I return? There are so many other places to try.Thank you for your review from the staff of Bisteccheria Santa Croce

My wife and I ate at Mangius with our two teenage kids. The food was outstanding - I had the steak and everyone else had the carbonara. Some of the best food we have eaten on our two week trip throughout Europe. Highly recommended.

From the moment we stepped in I knew it was going to be good. Farm to table freshness. Great food, great service and all at a very reasonable price. A must for the diner that wants to experience cuisine, simple but with great imagination.Thank you so much Robert, we appreciate it.

Thought you didnât like cow stomach? Well think again! Situated in the north of central Florence, this tiny little truck does great trippa (tripe) and lampredotto (fourth cow stomach) sandwiches, gently seasoned. The proprietors serve locals and tourists alike and help contribute to a great atmosphere. The food is also cheap - my partner and I bought a sandwich each, two bottles of water and the indispensable cup of red wine for â¬11 between us. Itâs well worth your while to walk the extra few minutes out of the city centre for one of the best meals youâll have in Florence.

New re-opening scheduled for March 2018 of the historic Florentine restaurant. Typical Tuscany food in center of Florence.
Our rental owner recommended this restaurant. We were welcomed by the owner who is a neighbour and friend of Elena, our host. The Mandriarno red wine was lovely and the pasta with roe deer sauce was delicious but the pork cube dish I ordered was â¬20 of mainly fat, maximum 20 per cent pork and that was disappointing and I left a pile of fat on my plate. The waitress looked at it and did not ask why or if it had been nice!!!as wasThe Tiramisu the waitress strongly recommended was the worst ever.We visit Italy all the time and love Tiramisu but this was really dreadful. We only ordered one but she brought 2 and that was â¬12 wasted as it was a hard biscuit with cream only and a sprinkling of chocolate. Really awful.

From the idea of a florentine young man and a calabrian young woman, the most "spicy" tuscan-calabrian panini place is arrived in Florence!
Daniele and his wife Valentina run the most incredible restaurant in the city of Florence. I always have a conversation with Daniele and he makes my experience one of a kind. They both truly care about their customers, and make the best sandwich I have ever tried in my entire life. If you are visiting Florence and are looking for a great spot for a meal, go to Mangiapepe for both the taste and the experience. This is my favorite place to eat in all of Italy, I recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and an unforgettable experience.

Osteria with revisited and gluten-free Tuscan cuisine.
