Wanted a good quality lunch with my family when driving towards Bratislava and ended up to Season. It offers side walk seating, in doors and a garden in the backyard. The food was very good and of high quality, but service was slightly too slow. It took 45 minutes to get our first serving: the caesar salad was prepared by a waitress at our table. A nice little surprise show, but since we were just passing by we probably hadn't opted for it.At bill pay time I mentioned about the slow service and was told it is always slow on Saturdays... Well, okay then...

Very solid restaurant, nice big space, extensive menu of central European foods - soups, salads, goulashes, pasta, other dishes. Good wine list, limited beer selection. Nice breakfast buffet with cook-to-order eggs (10 E) or order off the menu. Good WiFi. English and German spoken consistently.

My experience:- excellent food, even daily menu is great- nice and attentive staff- very good cost/quality valueBtw. I never had pizza there, but always food from menu card.
Knar Caffe sa nachadza v centre Zvolena v obchodnom dome Prior. Ide o kaviaren, ktora je stylovo zariadena. Vynimocnost nasej kaviarne je v priprave, chuti a servise podavanej kavy, v ponuke kvalitnych medailovych vin a ostatnych produktov. Zaroven mame p
We stoped at Knar for a quick lunch. Most of the guests seem to opt for their daily menu (soup, main dish and dessert as it looked). We however went for pizza (which was really nice by the way). Waiters are friendly and some speak English well. The price-quantity ration is surely reasonable. I would definitely return. Just beware, it is quite noisy and busy during lunchtime.
I keep coming here every now and then, when I'm in town, on my own and just feel hungry. They usually have this fairly cheap daily menu with some of my unhealthy slovakian specialities like fried cauliflower or chicken schnitzel. Sometimes the food comes from the microwave still a bit cold (it happened to me today :D), but is usually perfectly eatable and solid for the price.Give it a miss if you are looking for anything more than just filling your tummy. There is no atmosphere, as it is sitting in the middle of a foodcourt in a shopping centre, and the creativity in the food is just like in any other street food bistro.Decent though, considering how horrible some of the restaurants and bistros in Zvolen are!
