It is necessary to get to this restaurant early or have a reservation. Manager/owner not too keen to serve people who have not booked and prefers to send them away. Once a table has been obtained the service is slow and not friendly but otherwise efficient. Menu is basic and choices limited in Danish and German. Food however was good and veal was excellent and large portion. Seafood with salad was also good. With the right serving staff this place could be much better.

On of the first Restaurants on the German side of the Border with Denmark. They have a nice Terrace to sit and watch the traffic. The food is local dishes, they are usually large portions and reasonable prices.A lot of danish people go shopping in the stores there, because of the prices for them.

My wife, my parents, and I had a nice dinner at the restaurant. It is located close to the Nolde museum but it is possible to visit the restaurant without going into the museum. The food is creative, tastes well, and served in a stylish way. I really liked the room and the surroundingsâ the restaurant is located in one end of the museum which is a very fine piece of architecture. The staff was very kind and helpful â all of us felt very comfortable during the dinner. Compared to the quality of the food, I find it very high value for the money and we will certainly come back to this place when possible.
