Visiting friends in Santanyi, we had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Pablo in center city. The outdoor dining area is beautiful and intimate. The service was excellent. The fish dishes and the pork dish was very good. We enjoyed the experience very much.

What a lovely, friendly, romantic restaurant. The food was great. We shared a glorious take on baked goat cheese, sweetened by honey sauce and salted by capers and olives, with plenty of heat, served with a wonderful basket of chewy bread. Then I had the truly marvelous pasta special, penne with shrimp, wilted greens, and tomatoes. And a glass of a marvelous local red. My husband loved his hearty tuna steak and potatoes. We said no to dessert but were still spoiled with a shot of local herbal anise liqueur and small squares of a caramel like cake. Our waiter was tremendously friendly and personable. Bring cash -- prices are very fair but they don't take credit cards.

This is a lovely restaurant in an old house near the outskirts of SantanyÃ. The courtyard is very pleasant and atmospheric, and the staff is pleasant. We had mixed reactions on the food. The soup and pasta dishes were bland, while the goat cheese and pear starter and lamb main dish were good. I am glad we tried the restaurant, but would not return.

We were wandering around looking for somewhere to eat and the terrace looked very inviting. The menu is meat/ fish biased with an Asian twist on some dishes. We stared with large mixed tapas which is actual taster portions of 5 of their dishes and a portion of fried peppers and a basket of bread. Not what we were expecting but enjoyable! My husband had a nice tuna steak cooked medium rare, my son had the grilled salmon ( nice large piece) and I had the large prawns with salad and mayo. This was washed down with beer, sangria and water. The waiting staff were friendly and had a laugh. We will probably return whilst on holiday here.

New restaurant in SantanyÃ, Mallorca. High cuisine in a familiar place. Come to visit us.
Revisited this place recently and were delighted that it continues to ge better......We had scollops, heritage tomatoes with burrata and basil for starters, then sea bass with spinach and mash - outstanding! - while our fiends hadthelmb chops. Dessert was gratnated raspberries with sabayon and ice cream. House red and white wines plus four glasses of rose cava brought the bill to Euros 300 including a tip, for four. A very high level of culinary skill demonstrated here.

As very few places in Ses Salines were open out of season we tried this restaurant. People were eating outside on the terrace but although it was sunny it was a bit too chilly for us. We were greeted and taken to a table where we ordered a pizza to share and a salad to share. Both were a good size, plenty for 2 people and were both very good and tasty. The bill including a bottle of wine and sparkling water was very reasonable but when we got home we realised that we may have been undercharged for the pizza. We will return to reimburse the owner, specially as we really enjoyed the food.

First point: book ahead! This restaurant is up a small road off the main road from Ses Salines to Colonia; there is a sign but use a GPS so you donât miss it. The tables are in what must have been part of the garden of the house in which I believe the owners live. The decor includes chandeliers, paintings, and (live) chickens. The menu has a good selection of meat and fish, and our group sampled both. I can personally recommend the lambs shoulder which was incredibly tender and flavoursome. The salmon starter cooked on paper and the chocolate cakes were also excellent. The wine list has a good offer of Mallorcan whites, reds, and roses. The German co-owner was very charming and witty and took her time to explain the menu to us (in excellent English); her Spanish husband was managing the grill.Well worth a visit even if itâs not close to where youâre staying. We will definitely be going back!
