Stayed here for 1 night on business. The staff were excellent, especially Yvonne who was tireless and professional despite a large group of multinationals having a very late and heavy night - she deserves a medal! The food was excellent both in the evening and the morning at breakfast. Again the staff were superb at breakfast and very helpful with their level of service. I'd thoroughly recommend this place - it's in the middle of nowhere but means it's nice and quiet with no traffic noise.

There is nothing fancy or pretentious about this place. The food is very tasty and the service is excellent. Try the pork in green pepper sauce. Great! Their mixed grill is also delicious.

I had the chance to eat there 3 times as I stayed in the hotel. The first 2 times were excellent, especially for the beef filet. However, the last time I had the German speciality made of rolled/minced beef which gave me very strong stomach ache (food poisoning). The staff is extremely nice and professional. It was great to get as complimentary starter some bread with sliced meat and butter.

We met and were served by the owner, Frau Brigitte Gotzen, and her son who were extrordinary in their professionalism, and heartwarming kindness shown to my wife by Frau Gotzen to a couple while on our way from Deggendorf to the Netherlands for a few days. Hotel and room appears to have been recently renovated, and accommodations were great.

Recently renovated interior. Friendly service and very fair prices. Food menu is basic and food is average. Monday is Schnitzel special starting at 5⬠for a dinner. The cake selection is extensive I did not try but it looked good. I would recommend for a value stop while out in the beautiful Taunus Area. It has a small but nice Biergarten as well. A little too close to the street though to feel really in nature. Donât expect gourmet food. Good for families. There is no special kids menu, but the prices are so low you donât need it.

Ich war mit meiner Frau an einem Donnerstagabend da, wo es Rumpsteak zu einem Superpreis gab. Fleisch hervorragend von der Qualität, netter Service und Essen lecker. Kann man empfehlen

Perfect for people who love the nature, have kids, dogs, bikes... We went to this restaurant after a hike in a forest nearby. On the menu they have mainly schnitzel and pork steaks with different side orders and sauces. We chose the pork steaks and they were delicious! We also had a sausage and cheese platter as a starter. The sausages and cheese were good but we would have expected a better bread. The bread they had was quite industrial standard sliced bread. The nice stuff would have matched perfectly with farmhouse bread.

It has a very nice atmosphere and very good food. It's a romanian restaurant with romanian and german food too. During the weekend they are making food outside especially romanian ones. We will go back definitely :)

We were looking for a reasonably priced, local, authentic German food. This certainly hit the spot. They did not have an English menu and the waitress said she did not speak English, but she came back with her husband, the cook/owner who explained the items on the menu for us They had a diversified menu which included game dishes. I ended up with a wild pig (boar) bratwurst with fries and salad. With the beer, the total was about 9 euros! It was all very tasty. My wife had a pork steak topped with camembert which was also very good.We loved this restaurant (also has a nice view), and the owners who made sure we had everything we wanted. We recommend highly.

My wife and I are retired Canadian professionals living in Frankfurt for 18 months. Today, between Christmas and New Years Eve, it was overcast and foggy and wet, and we decided to explore the narrow cobblestone streets of the incredibly beautiful little towns of Kronberg and Konigstein, with their timeless estate/residences. We had made reservations at Miro's (highly recommended) because we assumed, rightly, that the local residents would be a good gastronomical influence! Miros is located on a hillside overlooking the valley below. The exterior is unassuming; the interior is very nicely decorated, warm and welcoming, with linen tablecloths. The owner himself seated us at a table with a view.If readers look at the comments on the attached photos, they will see why we were so delighted with the meal. The flavours and presentation were excellent. The ambience is such that families will enjoy dining, as well as couples looking for a memorable experience. (Why dine at other fine restaurants where the stuffy, stiff formality creates gastric ulcers?)The cost of the meals is entirely reasonable for the high quality and absolute professionalism. We will be back again to explore the menu. Bravo Mirwais!Thank you very much! You have to come back on a sunny day to take a look out of our windows an to see the great panorama. And of course, to explore the menu.We are looking forward to see you, kind regardsMiro
