Every time I visit Attersee in Austria, I make it a point first to stop in at the Bootshaus. First, it is easily accessible from the Autobahn. Secondly, there is enough parking. And third, not only is the atmosphere pleasant, being situated right on the river/lake, the food is superb! The portions are huge and the food is fresh. So many times I have visited the Bootshaus for lunch and dinner. Actually, I've been visiting this restaurant ever since they opened up! The last time I was here was in Nov, 2011. I wish we had this restaurant in Tampa! My compliments to the chef, Andreas! I am looking forward to returning to Austria and coming in to see everyone again!

This place has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff plus the food is great. I ordered the tafelspitz which was cooked perfectly and served with plenty of fresh vegetables and plenty of semmelkren. It was delicious. My husband ordered the house pizza which was also perfectly cooked and a salad which was lovely and fresh and served with lots of kernoil. Our little dog was welcome. The service from the wait staff was excellent. I would not hesitate to eat here again.

I was there for dinner with one of my Austrian friend & had a great dinner there. Had fish for the first time .... very special directly taken out of the local lake, was superb. All staff members were very friendly. For me everything from location to food to staff was great.Its my wish now to be there during my next visit to Lenzing.

we stopped by here by chance in transit from Vien to Salzburg.right on the lake with beautiful views.we had vienna schnitzels, and beef goulash, followed by pancakes, Chocolate tortes.the food was delicious, and the service friendly.highly recommend.Thank you very much. I hope we see each other again.

The hotel offer an excellent view to the lake. Room was small but clean. WiFi is available for free in the whole hotel area. I stayed for 4 days in this hotel. But they only give me one small bottle of liquid soap. And did not give any replacement at all. This is my only small remark in this hotel. Otherwise overall is good.

Nice restaurant with a local feeling, good typical Austrian food, not faraway from the lake just like 150 meters. The staff only speaks German and could be a bit friendlier... But overall a nice experience.

Great restaurant with traditional austrian food. Especially the outdoor dinning. Try the lung stew, just try it, you will enjoy. Or if you are not up to it have the local fish, which is very good.

The dining rooms are spacious, cozy yet elegant with a fire in the fireplace. Food is excellent as is the service. Venison is available. Would definitely come back.

we looked for something on the lake. so we found this one. the waiter/owner was very nice and friendly. food was also very good. the place itsself is a bit oldbut most of the places on that lake are old. not the hippest place but nice.

Great Austrian tavern with lots of wood and game heads mounted on the walls. The waitress was very helpful though she spoke little English. There are booths in the bar area and a large dining room area. Traditional Austrian dishes (Wiener schnitzel and goulash), delicious venison dishes and savory barbecue specialties. We ordered Zanderfilet and Kräuter-Cordon-Bleu and both was excellent. Will be coming back.
