Wagenrad is a regular stop for us. Great for out of town visitors, with plenty of support for non-german speakers. The biergarten is interesting and the menu is easy. They have some good local wines and some in-house grappa.

While staying in Florsheim for business purposes discovered this restaurant. This typical restaurant has a nice terrace and we had the opportunity to have dinner outside overlooking the river Main. The menu is large and has a well balanced selection of appetizers, main courses and desserts. The service is very good and a lot of locals were having dinner or the typical tapas called ' Hessisches Maulhapchen'. The food was very well prepared and served with some side dishes. We went for spareribs and a typical wild-dish and the result was a very good evening with some nice views and also with superb climate conditions. To end this evening we ended with a tasteful dessert and a delicious 'pousse-cafe'. As Belgian food-lovers we can recommend this restaurant located along the border of the Main.

This is a lovely restaurant in a beautiful town. There are many restaurants in Hochheim, but this one caught our eye because of the lovely courtyard and we were not disappointed! The food and choice was excellent and plentiful (too much really!) accompanied with an excellent bottle of local Riesling. We dined outside in the courtyard and there is another lovely seating area up stairs. Service was very good and the prices were very reasonable would recommend it.

I was invited by my business associates for lunch at this restaurant. It is a nice family-run restaurant in a rural surrounding. I enjoyed my Erdinger alcohol-free Hefeweizen beer and a delicious vegetable omelette (yes, for lunch!). Service was prompt and with a smile. The ambiance was nice as well.

The hotel is rated already with you, but their is also a separate restaurant, which is one of the best of Russelsheim
We were a party of nine having a business dinner. I was clearly disappointed: food was very average, with rushed service although the restaurant was only half-full.The amuse-bouche was tasty: a piece of salmon with horseradish. As starter I chose a potato soup with fish. The latter was good, however the potatoes tasted rather industrial. As main course I opted for the beef and pork medaillons - gratinated with cheese. The dish sounded promising, unfortunately the meat was overcooked. When we came to dessert, the waiter was obviously tired and stressed. He handed only the icecream menu; we had to ask for the dessert menu twice.I chose the "Winterdream creation" - with vanilla and cinnamon icecream. When it arrived, the scoops were already half-melted. Unacceptable!

Three days in Raunheim and thanks to the excellent experience of a year ago, among other choices, we return to Zum Bembelsche.A stone's throw from the Mercure Wings Hotel offers a traditional cuisine of high quality, various spacious rooms and friendly staff, wide selection of dishes for every taste, really recommended.

Being a short walk from the Amedia Boardinghouse / Best Western hotel and reading up on other TripAdvisor reviews, we visited this restaurant with biergarten. The service is great, the location is doable but offers plenty of room when seated in the biergarten (haven't actually been inside with the lovely weather) and the drinks are good and cool. The food is actually far beyond anything we expected, as the taste is magnificent and the choice is broad. The prices are low to boot, even for biergarten standards. On both occasions we visited here we were able to enjoy a full meal with extras, lovely desserts matching the menu pictures, plenty of drinks and leave room for a decent tip for 50 Euros per visit. That's less than 25 Euros per person - and we didn't hold back! This is definately worth visiting if we find ourselves in the area again! :D

Very popular restaurant by the River Maine. Good size terrace with plenty of tables & chairs. Service a bit slow on the Saturday afternoon we were there. Had to go inside and order directly at the counter. Latte coffe @2.90, ordinery coffee 2e. Flamkucken overpriced at nearly 9e but the baked Camembert I though was good at 7.50e. Good selection of cakes as always in Germany @ 2.50e a slice and a good size too. The inside is looking a bit shabby and could probably do with some refurbishment.

After some research on decent eating/drinking establishments in the area we made a pre-planned visit to the Kleines Ruesselheimer Brauhaus on a Monday night when it was predictably not too busy. Sat inside and impressed by the quality of the furnishings and the general ambience of the place. We all enjoyed main meals and desserts with myself consuming several of the beers which are of course brewed on the premises. The children had nuggets and chips and the nuggets must have been of the best quality I have ever seen (all too often the look cheap and nasty). Only surprise was the bill which added up to a lot more than I would have expected. Nevertheless it would not put me off visiting again. Worth seeking this place out if you are in the area,

The bar is set high. This was my first experience with authentic, German cuisine in-country. And it did not disappoint. The food was great, the mood and environment were authentic. A great, little local place in a very cool traditional building. My only wish is that I could go back, but my itinerary will not permit. If you are in the area, definitely check it out. Great, friendly service too.
