I almost gave 4 points because the most restaurants in Reit im Winkl are not good and offer too many different dishes! (Unfiortunately, we had no chance to go to "Dorf Stadl" where the food is probably very good!) The staff was friendly and recommended some day specials, whereof I chose the pumpkin soup as starter. It was very tasty with curry and coconut milk and fine pumpkin seed oil on top. As main dish I chose a pizza which was made in the italian way what I liked. A more soft and thin pizza base.My girlfriend chose Teufelsfleisch. The beef stripes were really medium as ordered and the potatoes and sauce were tasty. The recommanded wines were good.Price level is cheap.Soup, 2 x 1/4 l wine, pizza, meat dish and an espresso for less than 40â¬.Some little minuses: - the menu is very messy and the English translation is honestly not good. But it was nice that they had an English menu at least :)There were many couples sitting with strangers at tables for 4 persons. I would recommand to book a table for two persons in advance!Really recommandable.

Would recommend making an advance reservation as this is such a popular venue. Our pork medallions were really excellent, with tasty peppercorn sauce. Staff as alwaysfriendly and helpful. Will be back on our next trip to Bavaria.

the Lenzenhof is a large Gasthaus with a larger restaurant. The decor is traditionally bavarian, complete with Kachelofen. The food, very reasonably priced, is also very typically bavarian. The proprietor was very welcoming and gracious. We enjoyed our meal and homemade pastries.

Bottom Line Up Front: This is a must go with the family as they are very relaxed and parents will be able to enjoy their meals and drinks at large tables - however do not expect 'fine' food.Pros: Food and drink choice is good for a Apre Ski location you could ski too - great service and very friendly team all around with family.Cons: It would be nice to have a bit more refined Bavarian food in such a unique and lovely location, but don't let that stop you going! Recommend: Go early to get a table or make a reservation.
