Things to do in Puerto Princesa
First mobile food truck in an iconic Filipino jeepney. Tasty and hearty food freshly home made using only first-class ingredients. Our specialties are meatballs, pulled pork and smoked hotdogs, served in crusty baguette bread or with rice; French crepes w
We ordered a homemade calamansi lemonade, a rum and coke, crepe with pulled pork and their home specialty Zapiekanka which is described as the best drunk food. The rum and coke is mixed well and the home made lemonade was delicious.First of all after getting the drinks, they let us know there is no pulled pork, alright, you are far away from society things happen. So we order the ham and cheese crepe instead.5 min later, no more crepes either. If you only have 2 items on the menu, sandwiches and crepes, and one of them is out, you let people know when they order. But ok my gf decided not to have any have anything then. All of a sudden the mood changes and they don't say a word anymore. The Zapienka arrives, and with arrives i mean "thrown" at the table from a meter and half away without saying a word, and it is indeed drunk food. The kind of food I would make better than this when I was drunk. So small that if I would charge that price for it, I would not be able to sleep at night. When paying, the lady behind the counter just barked 320 at me and that is it.Sorry but this place needs a lot of work and you have so many different, better options on the beach where staff is actually nice.Btw they were out of crepes but the staff was eating crepes when we paid.. weird right?Thank you for your honest review and sorry about your bad experience. After inquiring with our staff, here is what happened. We were effectively out of pulled pork and were in the process of cooking a new batch (process takes about 3 hours). At that moment the gas tank under the crepe maker ran out. Because they could not swap with the other one as it was needed to cook the pulled pork, they informed you that crepes were momentarily unavailable. They should however have informed you of the reason and explained that they were awaiting a replacement gas tank. As for the size of the zapiekanka, you may have a point, we took note of it we decided to serve them 1/3 larger from now on.

German Food and German Beer Selfmade German Saussages, Currywurst, Bratwurst, Schnitzel with French Fries, Salat.... Also available Hungerian, English and Philippines Food
We noticed that this new bar/restaurant had been open for a month or more so we decided to take lunch there. The menu is not too big but the most popular meals would be the sausages and schnitzel . There is also fish & chips, chicken and simple salad. The German owner makes his own sausages which turned out to be very tasty. I chose the currywurst and fries while my wife went for the fish and chips, and a salad each. The meals were very satisfying and economical too. There is a selection of wine, sold by the glass at reasonable prices. The place is small but well decorated, while the owner and wife are friendly and eager to have a conversation.

I heard this was the place to stock up on Deli items and walked out with some great salami, smoked beef, a nice bottle of red and decent cheese. All these items are hard to find in Palawan And Philippines generally . Was pleasantly surprised to be able to sit down in there for a nice brewed coffee and a meal . It's small and packed with all the stuff that you have to have when those cravings set in. Great little place ....
