I have tried three different restaurants in this region and Masa left me speechless. The waiting staff was very affable while the blue ribbon service was great, above and beyond. The manager of the restaurant came to check on us twice while we were having lunch. All the products were fresh and the dishes were home-made. The chefs took great care in selecting the best quality ingredients for both the meat lovers and vegetarians as well. The restaurant provides for all the variety of tastes by serving high quality vine and other beverages!
There are a few places in this area that look quite good, but Kaktus had English on the menu which made things less complicated. The pancakes were good, the tuna salad fine and the bruschetta very nice. The beer was cold, the prices reasonable and the outside setting meant you could watch the world go by.
This is a wonderful mini-escape from the centre of town. Excellent local dishes with fine service. Outside seating is a plus in reasonable weather. Reasonable

One of the few good places to visit in Podgorica where the food is good although sometimes not to best standards.Customer service needs to improve. There are to many items on offer and the menu is to versatile....from pasta, pizza to all sort meat and fish dishes which must diminishes the quality.

This place was recommended by my hostel owner. I loved it. I went firstly by myself and got the soksha salad (spelt incorrectly, sorry) two beers, bread and a stuffed sausage. So much food, and change from a ten euro note! I came back for dinner with other people from my hostel and I got a beer pizza. This was not as good. I'd say, stick with the local cuisine. Rum is .70. so cheap and good.

Itâs a cafe. And itâs a restaurant. And itâs a disco/club. Itâs appealing to every demographic! To be fair, Iâve only been for dinner, though twice. The first time was a corporate meal, set piece, everyone looked after, all lovely. Second time was just two people, and the service was abrupt (by W European standards) a d they seemed keen to see the back of us. And they didnât bring the olives I asked for, but did bring bread (which I didnât).As a vegetarian I had one main course choice, veg risotto. Having said that, it was superb - sneer if you will, but Iâve eaten a lot of risotto over the years and this is one of the best. If/when Iâm in Podgorica again - Iâll be back.

We enjoyed our dinner at Restoran Vuk. We sat on the outside porch and enjoyed main courses of sea bass, sea bream and tuna. We also had a delicious mixed salad and krempita dessert. The waitstaff were excellent. The prices were very reasonable. The ambience was peaceful and lovely. So glad that we chose this restaurant for our last night of our holiday in Montenegro.

This restaurant is large with indoor and outdoor areas. We tried the recommended roasted meat which was very nice, quite an intense meat experience! The oven roasted potatoes were also good. Large portions, but we should have asked for less (you can tell the waiter how much you want, and we asked for the recommended 600g for two of us).Unfortunately no room left to try desserts. Excellent service.

Ordered the homemade hard cheese/Trappist cheese, chicken breast grilled, tarator salad and the paprika punjena pavlakom. The tarator salad is like a cold yogurt with some bits of cucumbers in it, mostly yogurt, not my favorite. The homemade cheese is extremely salty and has a similar texture feta, not my thing either. The stuffed peppers are surprisingly spicy, itâs the sour cream thatâs got the kick for sure. We have yet to find any crispy fries, they are as they were today, soft, wilted and mushy. My husband liked the chicken the best, it was okay, reminds me of chicken steak, once again not my favorite but not a bad second after the stuffed peppers. Asked for a side of ketchup, itâs an extra 0.30 for the condiment. We have 3 bills for: food, sparkling water and the ketchup condiment. The food was all okay, the wait staff was cold at best, but itâs likely the language barrier. The guys behind the bar are the most friendly and warm of the group.

Surely you know the feeling, travelling through the Balkans for days on a business trip. We felt it was time for something different than grilled meat platters. Luckily enough the best rated restaurant in Podgorica turned out to serve italian food. Only 3 blocks away from the Marriott, we went for it. I can only confirm the excellent rating. Nice interior, timeless songs as background music, fast, friendly and efficient service, tasty food. Our party had the local cheese platter with fresh bread as a starter. A 'small' pizza as main course. The meal accompanied with an excellent bottle of red wine: Vranac 'pro corde' from the famous Plantaze winery. The only remark I can make, is that I personally would serve the Vranac slightly colder. A very enjoyable evening for little money. Thanks to the Lanterna team!
