Zur Gärtnerruhe auch Lokomotive genannt ( Vor dem Restaurant steht wirklich eine Lokomotive ) ist unter Einheimischen für die gute, günstige Küche bekannt. Man kann in der Umgebung sehr schöne spazieren gehen und dann hier zum Essen oder auch nur um etwas zu trinken einkehren. Im sommer ein schöner Biergarten die Inneneinrichtung ist eher schlicht. Das Esen sehr gut, ob Schnitzel oder deftige einheimische Speisen alles mit Liebe angerichtet und herzhaft gut. Ein Highlight ist auch das Gansessen im November / Dezember unbedingt vorbestellen. Gut angerichtet und preislich keum zu topen. Für schlichtes, rustikales gutes Essen zum kleinen Preis absolut empfehlenwert.

Located on Offenbach's Wilhelmplatz, the Markthaus is just one of many dining options around that square. Competition is stiff - but in this town seems to produce a cluster of excellent restaurants.The Markthaus can probably best be characterised as specialising in regional dishes from the region of Hesse, and they do it well. Three generations of a family fed and happy, with the one caveat that the Markthaus may want to try a little harder to offer vegetarians a few interesting dinner options, too.

Preis Leistung passt, die Qualität der Speisen ist hervorragend . Ein schönes Ambiente und im Garten sitzt man trotz nahem Parkplatz gut. Hier kann man gerne verweilen. Innen ist es trotz groÃem Raum gemütlich und ruhig. Klasse Bedienung, gute Weinempfehlung. Rundum gelungen.

Nice venue in an old wagon wheel-making building. Pleasant decor and good service. We were a group and so had an assortment of traditional schnitzels, salads, veal dishes, fleisch salad and fried potatoes with green sauce. All good and good value for the quality.

Had dinner here with a group of 8. The food was excellent. Great quality, good presentation and wonderful mix of flavours. And the staff was great. The lady running the restaurant (maybe owner) is a great charachter and having a very positive impact on the atmosphere. Great experience and i would definitely recommend this.

For me maybe the best german restaurant in Offenbach region. The food is fresh made and served in huge quantities, service is good, the place very calm and pleasant. You can enjoy the nice weather on their sunny terrace or stay away from winter cold in the old windmill. Moerover the prices are very reasonable. I was there many times for different reasons (business, family, friends...) and never had to regret it.

I came to this restaurant by personal recommendation. Otherwise I wouldnât have looked for a restaurant in Offenbach while in Frankfurt. Having seen the rating, my expectations were high. However, they were surpassed. The food was brilliant, a traditional substantial core with an exotic surprising touch. Excellent wines for reasonable prices. Service maybe a bit slow, but thatâs easily forgiven in such a friendly atmosphere in the lovely garden which of course was filled to capacity this warm summer evening.

A nice surprise in a small town 30 minutes outside of Frankfurt Main. If you are in the area, this is well worth stopping at for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have a great Sunday Brunch. It is right by the side of the rail station so there is also plenty of parking.Pleasant and helpful service in a Bistro style decor. Good variety of food at reasonable prices. You must try the soups!

We came here tonight without a reservation and very much enjoyed our stay. The place is very nicely designed and even offered live music.Our waiter was amazing, he came back so many times to check on us, he knew our entire drink order which we placed with his colleague and he really made our evening.Food was very good and we enjoyed the local appetizers (Tapas from Hesse), the steak and salads.I would definitely be back.
