7 Euros for a standard glass of Merlot of which you can buy a bottle for not more than 5. Need I say more? The food is alright, though just a tad bit above average, location is good (for Duisburg). The service lacks professionalism (the waitresses didn't know about wi-fi; also, one of my colleagues was actually yelled at for complaining about the very late arrival of the food). Wouldn't go there again unless they reworked their service AND the wine selection/pricing.

As with everything in Germany I expected a good experience while at Pesas AllSteaks in Duisburg, but I didn't realized how good. As I learned what locals have for over a decade, this steakhouse delivers a truly exceptional dining experience whether you're into highend Japanese, American or Argentinan prime cut beef or traditional dishes.

We had a great German meal. Goulash soup, bratwurst, snitzel steak and pork knuckle. All excellent prepared.Nice atmopsphere. Lunch was fully booked and we were happy to have made reservation. Service but slow (too busy).Great beers. Price very cheap for the meal quality and size.Recommended. Next to centro mall very nice.

What else do you want? One of the best adresses in a rather (outdated and) dull city. If you happen to have visited legoland, sealife etc in the Neue Mitte wij tour kids and you care for some international cuisine rather than a typical bratwurst and sortlike dishes... Well look no further, honest and decent cuisine can be found here at restaurant International - ducked away in one of the lesser 'touristic streets' of the city. Maybe not the most romantic restaurant but it's far better than some typical tourist traps near 'centro'. By the way, the wines are reasonably priced too which are welcome gift after a whole day with the kids. Just make sure you go by foot to your nearby hotel. :-)

in the old part of town adjacent to the old church this Tudor style building with several floors and wooden beams is stunning, I believe it was built in the 16th century and has been beautifully renovated, the food is lovely the waitresses very polite helpful and service with a smile and great German Alt beer.

Nice place to sit on the terrace at the small lake after shopping at Centro or visiting a stunning Gasometer exhibition. The beer is good and brewed locally. The food is Ruhr area style and should be tried. If in doubt just play it safe and go for the excellent Currywurst.

The recently completely redesigned restaurant now looks stylish and modern. The service is very friendly and fast. At lunchtime there is an additional menu with special offers that are highly recommended. You must also try the delicious cakes. I will definitely come back.

Wow, just wow!! Incredible food, we had the gdansk platter for 2. Yummy, especially the red cabbage and sauerkraut. If anything too much food! Very nice (English speaking) waiter was keen to hear our stories of our stay in Poland, poor chap, we probably bored him!Food and service both excellent. Highly recommended... we will be back on Wednesday night!!Don't miss the toilets!!!... see photo!
