Went with some friends to have dinner. We were around 10 people so we ordered many different dishes. All looked well. I ordered a Cheese foundee which it was delicious. Waiters were professional and friendly. All of us were satisfied with our different choices (meat foundeee, salads, fish which is simply delicious...).Prices are not cheap but this is normal for being a restaurant next to the late in Nyon.

Sitting nicely on the village edge the Auberge looks over the Chateau Vineyards.I can imagine in summer the terrace area would be packed as you couldn't find a better vista. The service was exceptional & the fixed menus whilst expensive were beautiful. For starter we had lasagne with a lobster bisque sauce ( with generous pieces of lobster) followed by the classic of 'Filet de Perche). The actual perch were some of the best we have had..... golden brown & larger than normal. Finally a Creme Brulee which I must say tasted like a real English custard !!! Bravo.

This restaurant is open on Monday and Tuesday lunchtimes which is convenient as these days many local restaurants are closed then. Easy parking and the dining room is modern and quite busy the day we were there. Started badly as Erika was not prepared to clear a table in the corner as they were too busy so we sat down at another table in the middle of the room. We were there quite late so the restaurant emptied quite quickly so our table was OK in the end. Service was friendly and quite adequate throughout the meal. There were three daily specials on the menu and the gratin from the lake and the sea ( fish ) was very good - much better than I anticipated and quite a large portion as well. One other special included lamb chops , a steak brochette and french fries. This was also good and both were very well priced and good value. Will definitely return as there is a very nice , quiet terrace with lake views there so a good reason to return in the spring / summer. If you in the area on Mondays and Tuesdays with limited other options available then you will do a lot worse by not trying this restaurant which offered us a nice meal. Did not inspect the full menu so it is difficult to comment the options for dinner etc.Dear Michael,We thank you for your detailed comment and are very happy you enjoyed the friendly service and nice meal you had in our restaurant. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced at your arrival and have taken action so that would not occur again.Thanking you again for your constructive feedback, we hope to see you again soon to taste some other dishes from our menu.Kind regards,
