Fantastic food with local specialities,Austrian classics and seasonal highlights. We have been at this restaurant during every visit every year and it never fails. Though today was a highlight. I ordered Kärntner kasnudeln which were fantastic. My mother had home made pasta with truffle cream sauce and shaved truffles and let me tell you there was no skimping on the truffle ! My husband on the other hand hat turkey medaillons with a curry sauce and basmati rice which was equally fantastic. My children had thin and crispy French fries and soup with homemade type noodles. A must visit when you are at The lake and worth a drive .Ps The chef is the owner of the restaurant !

Really enjoyed this place, the food is good (though the menu is not very large), the service is friendly and, at least when we were there, quick and efficient. The view is fantastic, the background music at a reasonably low volume, All-in-all it was the best place to eat that we found in Krumpendorf.

We visited this lovely restaurant twice during a short holiday in Reifnitz. Beautiful views from the hills above Keutschach. Friendly, attentive staff; delicious food in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The owner (and his elderly father) made a point of greeting and warmly welcoming us on both occasions. Our only disappointment was on one visit one dessert was a little dry - which they apologised for & gave the whole table a complimentary after dinner drink.

We had a great birthday dinner at that place, there were lot of dishes to share as well as meat as seafood. Qualty was very well, and the staff was more than welcome. Great veranda, outstanding view and ambient athmoshere. Go for sure

Food basic, menu basic, quality basic. Right on a busy road so something needs to be better for a return visit. Maybe eating inside is the answer, but on a summer evening there are better offerings locally.

The restaurant is ideally located on the see-side as part of the traditional bath-house. They offer mainly tapas and some main courses. What they served was great but it was difficult to order, the wait was long and they forgot a part of the order. We found this chic, familiar and very good restaurant just by chance, travelling from Prague to Italy. So, we couldn't have been lukier! The food and the service were both excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and kind even if it was 2.00 p.m., and made us understand the menu despite the fact that we didn't speak German at all. We tried some of the trout-dishes, goulash and the deer meat dish, which was really over the top! Very good desserts too. Great experience... very pleasant memories... thank you!

This restaurant is in a typical Austrian house with beer garden. A short drive behind Portschach.The food is an excellent example of local tastings. We visited it a few times during our stay in the area. It has grown and expanded in the last four years, at times not for the better. It can get very busy and the staff can be pushed to the limit.However they do a fabulous job under busy times and the food is worth it.
