The cosy Titschli restaurant at Hotel frutt Lodge & Spa is open during the day and in the evening. Every morning the restaurant staff prepare a generous breakfast buffet for the guests. The restaurant serves a selection of international, light and fresh c
Went there for a nice weekend. The suite we had was very specious and nicely decorated. Unfortunately that's where the compliments end. No parking in front of the hotel (you need to park your car elsewhere and walk up the hill for 10min), our minibar had 1 bottle of water in it and when we wanted to order some wine (at around midnight) to our room the guy just said that the bar was closed so no wine for us. Other than that, after breakfast we hung the "please clean room" tag outside, but even after 5h (and the next door room was already done) our room was still not done. Also the food was not nice at all for that price. Pasta was not freshly done and Cordon Bleu not nice at all. Shame... Therefore we checked out, signed & left. Really a pity considering the view is absolutely amazing.Dear vak0208,Thank you by much for your review. As announced on our website, in our confirmation letter and on the Melchsee-Frutt website, the Melchsee-Frutt is car-free which is, in the eye of most of our guests, a huge advantage. There is nothing we can do about this fact other than to recommend to either take the cable car to the resort including luggage transport from the parking in the valley to your room or to drive up to the hotel and unload before parking it on the designated space. We are very sorry that you found this inconvenient. The frutt Lodge & Spa is a 4 Star Superior hotel and we have chosen to fill our minibars according to the needs and requests of our guests instead of charging everybody for this service secretly thru higher room rates. The vast majority of our guests appreciates this highly. We announce the availability of our room service in our guest directory and are happy to offer this service from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. according to the requirements for our hotel category. Even more than this fact we enjoy to meet our guest's needs and expectations for this service. Our rooms are cleaned according to priority with a focus on departure and arrival rooms to ensure that our guest rooms are ready when our guests arrive. We are sure you appreciate to have your room ready on arrival, too.Our Cordon-bleu is prepared from local veal meat and Tannalp cheese produced on our high plateau. We are very sorry we did not meet your personal taste with our best-selling dish and the pasta which is produced fresh for us by a local pasta specialist from Obwalden. We again thank you for your review and wish you all the best,Melanie & Thorsten FinkGeneral Managers
I love Wagenkehr. It exudes character, quirkiness and a certain mountain frontier quality, perhaps because it's got its own little border crossing complete with barrier. The food is well cooked of the type you'd expect in the Alps, the terrace is sunny, the inside cozy and it's all good value for money. And where else can you purchase mountain medicinal remedies alongside your coffee and splendidly baked plum tart?

Our guest house is located in the heart of Central Switzerland, nestled in the beautiful mountains of Obwalden? Directly at the north end of the Lake Lungern - just 80 steps from the Kaiserstuhl train station. Whether you come for a coffee on our sun terr

We really had a bad experience with the food in this restaurant. Though the service is correctly, a bit distant but polite, prices are way to expensive for the quality of the food served. The 20⬠spaghetti which i got served, was an vercooked pasta plate and a sauce that contained some ingredients that do not go along with each other. (Maybe i am spoiled by eating so often excellent pastas in Italy)The salad (ordered frissche gemixter salad (15â¬+)) which my partner got served, was rather a few heaps of canned vegetables, from which some were drowning in a sauce, and was far from what you expect what would be a salad. For those who are looking for pastas, or salads i would not recommend this restaurant, though i can imagine that it has some good Suisse meat to offer. Further the setting of the restaurant looked much more attractive than what the other restaurants in town seemed to offer.

This is what is called "gemütlich" (cosy) in Switzerland. Waldegg is a small family restaurant. We had a good meal and the owners are very nice and friendly people. The pricing is also good, especially according to Swiss standards!

The review I wrote of this last evening, was attributed to me under another name/identity. I.e. Somehow TripAdviser got hold of my other email address and classed this as another person. I don't know if TripAdviser will print this post, but if you look at the review under Bar F, below, that is my review!!

Reuti takes you down into the valley where you can visit Meiringen and the Reichenbach Falls. If you go up then you must visit the top station Alpen Tower. There are plenty of high level walking paths.

Our hotel is family run, currently by the fifth generation of Urweiders. The hotel is nestled in the midst of the fascinating Alpine surroundings of the Hasli Valley of the Bernese Oberland and offers a welcoming atmosphere and comfortably outfitted rooms
We were just looking for a place to stay the night on our motorcycle trip, this hotel was cheaper than the other place we asked, and it is always nice to have a restaurant on site on a trip like this. What a surprise at dinner time! All of us had different dishes, and all of them were more than what we expected, excellent kitchen, freshly made with love, local ingredients, and they all tasted very, very good. This restaurant is a real gem in the Alps, and could go for a michelin star! Next to that very nice and friendly people, and serving a very good breakfast in the morning (ask for their special teas!) I really would recommend this restaurant and hotel as being a friendly, safe an joyful place to stay.

We were at the Hotel Alpbach Restaurant to celebrate a wedding anniversary with a party of 9 guests, and we had a fantastic experience. The service was attentive and reasonably quick and the food was exceptional. With a party of our size, we sampled many items from the menu, and all were happy with their meal. The green salad with house dressing was fantastic. The Chinese fondu is a HUGE amount of food, but it also seemed to be unreasonably expensive relative to the other meals served. We really enjoyed our time there and recommend it.

Cozy inn in the Bernese chalet style. Rustic kitchen with local, seasonal specialties. Newly renovated rooms and apartments.
We had the distinct please of an excellent evening meal including perhaps the best soup we have ever tasted ... Bärlauch Suppe! Very regrettably it does not seem that Bärlauch would grow here in Crete but we will definitely return to the Gasthof Zur Post for more!Dear kritiko e,Thank you very much for your visit in Hasliberg and for your kind review on Tripadvisor! We are happy that you liked our seasonal specialties so much! Also for us the Bärlauch is a rare delight, since it's only growing during a very short time in spring. We would be happy to welcome you back soon.Greetings from sunny Hasliberg.Sandro, Gabie & the Poestli crew
