Came here in September but know we will be back in December now that the Penkenbahn is open (wasn't when we went last December). Only have enough euros on us for something cheap, had banana milkshake and banana split. Both were fine. Staff were nice.

This is a typical skiing hut, which works in the summer as well. Dont expect any gourmet stuff, this is basic food with a high altitude price tag, but nothing to frown at either. In the winter it is self service, in the summer they do bring the food to you A nice touch is their attitude to kids, they have lots of toys ready to be used by their small customers...

4 stars are for food. Service - we were initially sat in the cold area of the restaurant (as did not have a booking), another waitress soon after moved us to a nicer 'location'. Parking is available nearby the restaurant however it is only a few spaces. Food was very good.

Out the way from the centre bit walkable from our accommodation, this is a turkey rustic & homely place to have dinner. Loved all the cow bells everywhere.We got moved around tables a bit as we were just 2 people & there were lots of bit tables to accommodate; but that's credit to their tasty food I suppose & we didn't mind. Enjoyed sampling local cuisine, very generous portions & reasonable prices. Good post ski munchies, & walking distance in Hollenzen!

This is an usual restaurant perched on the cliff face above the Zillergrund dam. There are two ways in - via the open lattice metal stairway which is clipped onto the rock face (perhaps not for the faint hearted) or via the roadway which runs up from the top of the Zillergrund dam and round to the rear of the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is quite 'Harry Potterish', it could be straight from Diagon Alley. The staff are friendly, the service is quick, the portions ample and tasty. Well worth a visit, even if it takes an hour by bus (the 8328 service from Mayrhofen station (bahnhof)).

The restaurant at the Hotel Pramstraller, open to non-residents. Serves traditional Austrian dishes and (as the name suggests) Italian favourites. Salad bar. Mainly icecream based desserts. Good choice of drinks by the glass. Reasonable prices in line with less accommodating establishments. Friendly and careful service in a comfortable series of rooms. Definitely worth the short walk beyond the church.

This is a big dining area in the Hotel Kramerwirt. Good quality menu with a very nice atmosphere. Staff are also very good. Don't be put off by the fact that the restaurant is in a hotel. This place is wonderful. A little more expensive than others but well worth it. It was near Michelin star quality. If you reserve a table with a small deposit you receive a nice little appetiser. We went twice it was so good. Can highly recommend the linguine, burger and fillet steak! Nice fine wines especially if you have a few thousand euros to spare, although some very reasonably priced ones too. Canât wait to go again. We ate here as a family (two teenagers) and everyone loved it (I have venison ragout). The salad bar was superb, the best we came across all week. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The place was nicely full and the atmosphere was just lovely. âWhite outâ on the mountain. Dash!! Or ruder words that TA wonât accept. Back to hotel and changed. After wandering aimlessly round the village, fell upon this place in the quiet top corner of the town. Glad we did. Unlike previous reviewers, we were not bothered about it being different (go to st anton sir and spend â¬400 on your lunch), we just wanted tasty. Thatâs what we got. Great goulash, good spaghetti, tasty breads and meat spreads. Service good, polite and there when you needed it. A great lunch experience.
