Fürth (German pronunciation: [fʏʁt] ( listen); East Franconian: Färdd; Yiddish: פיורדא, Fiurda) is a city in northern Bavaria, Germany, in the administrative division (Regierungsbezirk) of Middle Franconia. It is now contiguous with the larger city of Nuremberg, the centres of the two cities being only 7 km apart.

A little bit hidden away, but definitely worth to find. I had a very generously sized Gulasch dish with just a hint of horseraddish, which was so good, that I was tempted to order a second serving. The barkeeper recommended white wine, which was the perfect pairing to my food. The stuff is cordial and helpfull and one feels at home right away and I can only praise and highly recommend the Gregor Samsa. It has a lot of great vibes to it and is definitely not one of those tourist traps, but a place where you like to eat and hang out.

We have visited the Kupferpfanne (copper kettle) restaurant various times now and got to the conclusion that this is one of the best restaurants in the region. The food is German and seasonal (we were there at asparagus season), but they go this extra mile at this restaurant which distinguish them from other places: the food is nicely presented and fresh, the portions are not extra large and the food is finer (compared to other places in this area). The service is very friendly and special wishes are being accomodated. One really feels as a welcomed guest in this restaurant. The place is small and cosy, traditional and nice and we recommend a reservation.

Betriebsurlaub vom 28.07.2019 bis einschlieÃlich 20.08.2019 Wir freuen uns auf Ihren Besuch in Nürnberg
So letâs just say that if you have any hope of eating here..... make a reservation. Itâs a hassle I know. But so worth it. We tried to walk in one night and were turned away. We made a reservation as soon as we got home and scored a table within the week. Aside from the historical Albrecht-Dürer business, (an added bonus) this really is a fine restaurant. It is small, busy, and has excellent service and food. So you must make a reservation. My husband had the schäufele. I had the deer ragu. Both were superb, and served with excellent blaukraut. The stewed plums with cinnamon schnapps was so good as well. We were sat and served crazy fast. Please take the time to make your reservation and enjoy this wonderful gasthaus!

Cafe und Kneipe
Dissapointing lunch; sent the pasta back as it was dry, sticky and generally poor in taste. The Schnitzel wasn't better either. Again very dry and over fried. My dog liked it though.

We had a dinner here with our business partners and this was a pleasent surprise. Youthful friendly service, stylish interior, tasty drinks and good wine list. Menu was large enough for everyone and food fresh, made from quality ingredients. Give it a try, I guess you won't be disappointed.

...within old town of Fuerth. Lovely decorated, small restaurant serving high quality, but reasonably priced burger and salat. Sometimes also original Berlin Currywurst is available (and recommended to try). Attentive service staff. I would suggest to make reservation, especially in colder season when outside seating is not open.

Only a few yards from our hotel (NH Fuerth) we noticed how busy it was so decided to make a reservation; a wise decision, as it turned out to be very busy. We enjoyed a pleasant meal accompanied by a glass of ouzo as an added extra. Good value meal and attentive staff.

Wir machen Betriebsurlaub vom 6 bis 27. August
During our five day trip to Nuremberg, a very pleasant evening was spent in the adjoining town of Furth. At the Gruner Brauhaus to be exact, just a short distance from Furth train station.Being a brewery as well as a restaurant the house beer was very well matched to the usual pig products. Although the food was very good, the portions were just too large. Tip, make sure you are very hungry should you intend eating at this restaurant. The restaurant is quite large but nevertheless very busy, so best book particularly for the weekend. Usual jovial servers, definitely a worthwhile experience, sensibly priced too. I would go again, having made sure that I had missed breakfast and lunch.
