This is a great choice. It offers a variety of dining and a terrace for drinks. It has a lakeside setting and provides the perfect stopping off point after a stroll around the park. It's also just a short walk from the highly rated Dolce Hotel.

It is good food, I personally don't enjoy the expense of Tapas and still feeling hungry after but to be fair this is a good restaurant, be prepared to spend â¬9 per Tapas.

We were in town for the Elvis Fest. I believe they were offering a limited menu because of the festival. We had a cheeseburger with seasoned fries and a salad plate. Both were very good with large portions. The salad came with a few slices of French bread and a small pitcher of thousand island dressing. All the ingredients were fresh, rather than a mix of fresh greens and pickled vegetables/cabbage as you typically get on a salad in Germany. The burger came with lettuce, tomato, onion and dill pickle as well as two beef patties. We didn't go inside so can't comment on the interior. Service was relatively slow but friendly.

Took a friend of ours here for a meal. Was not that pleased with the meal which consisted of root vegetables, cold roast beef on top, with some sort of sauce spread all over it.But I was incensed when paying the bill for â¬83.80 with two â¬50 notes not to receive any change. Because I said 'Danken' to the waiter he presumed to help himself to the change as a tip! When I want to give a tip I will tell them to keep the change, or when change is being handed over to me tell them - that is okay. Was not prepared to cause a scene, particularly in a foreign country, in front of our very good German friend.Dear kateOrm,I am very sorry to hear about the situation you faced at our restaurant. I am sure that the situation with the tip was a missunderstanding on our side between our waiting staff and you. If you would be so kind to get in contact with us via email [email protected], we would be more than pleased to reimburse you with the ⬠16,20 Tip taken from you.I apologize for the inconvinience and hope you will give our waiting staff a second chance.

Mein/unser Lieblingsrestaurant!

We were pointed towards this restaurant by the conciërge of the Dolce Bad Nauheim hotel, and also by a passer-by in front of the restaurant who confirmed the good reputation of this recently opened house. More refined and more expensive then the traditional German restaurant, but nevertheless German. We walked in without reservation and were seated promptly. The choice is not huge, but OK bearing in mind we are here in a small town on a weekday night. Prices, however, are more âupmarketâ than the choices on the menu.We had to wait very long for the first course, perhaps because of the extensive group in the back room that had arrived shortly before us. But when we got the starters they were excellent, as was the bottle of Riesling wine for ⬠25 only. The main course followed without too much delay and was also excellent. Finishing it all off with just one expresso brought the bill to almost ⬠100, which I find high, although the quality and service OK. It is just too high for the type of restaurant in this neighbourhood. All in all a pleasant evening; I prefer to pay too much for good food than cheap bad food ï

Our group of nine people visited this restaurant on 21 April 2017. The service was mediocre; the server for our table kept forgetting things (e.g., even the free olive/pepperoni starter and the ouzo). We were ready to forgive them on this until a dog came out from the kitchen, paused at where our table was and peed a big pee. We were beyond shocked. When informed, the first staff member took a look, decided to do nothing, and continued to check his mobile phone. The second staff member came out, took a look, shrugged, and disappeared. We were furious by then. The whole area stank and we felt helpless and decided to go. Only then did a staff member came out with a dry mop to clean up. Mind you, with a dry mop, the cleanup simply meant pushing the pee into a bigger puddle. DON'T GO THERE. IT'S NOT EVEN A CHEAP RESTAURANT!

I went to this place three times over the course of three months in Germany. Some with friends and another time just one person - it was always friendly and welcoming with great food.

Stumbled across this restaurant by accident. Superb hands on service by the owner who spoke excellent english and was very accomodating She recommended great things off the menu. I gave her a choice of my wine and entree and she served me an incredible Flammekuchen with asparagus, ham, pepperoni and cheese. So good. The wine was perfect also. This was followed by homemade ice cream topped with fresh whipped cream and strawberries. First class.
