Excellent quality food and selection of wines. Friendly service and great ambience - this restaurant is well worth a visit if you are in the area. It is popular with the locals and surrounding areas - so bookings on Friday and Saturday nights is advisable. I would even go as far as recommending this restaurant for an award. Highly recommended!

Our small cozy Auberge situated at the foot of the castle in Vianden. It is one of the oldest buildings in Vianden and formerly served as a lock smiths. Today, there is a rustic restaurant with 9 modern, newly renovated rooms. We offer specialties from th
Upon the recommendation of our hotel staff we had dinner on our only night here. The inside is large, with tables in two different floors and there is also ample seating outside which is where we chose to dine. I ordered the spareribs, which come with French fries or baked potato and a green salad. They also provided French bread and a tasty dip for staters. The portions are very generous especially the spareribs!. The service was friendly and polite and even with drinks and desserts the bill was reasonable. I would recommend, especially on a warms summer's eve.

I have eaten at this establishment many times and have never been disappointed! Chef Heinz is a master of the kitchen, and is always available to recommend the best meal of the day. Cold Bitburger Pils on tap, as well as a nice selection of "brandwein" (schnapps), distilled on the property by the chef's brother Gunter. (I am particularly fond of the Williams Christ Birn Brand, (pear schnapps)). Can't go wrong with the Jaeger Schnitzel, but as stated above, I have never had a bad meal at "Poldi's" (as it's known by the Holstumers).

I tried many restaurants in Echternach since I moved here and I am very disappointed with many of them that I lost the desire to eat out. I do not know what people rave about but most places in Echtnerach are just tourist traps. But this one has been good so far! I tried the burger one time (I do not typically eat burgers but this one was great!) and a fish dish another time and they both were lovely. They have excellent weià Burgundy wine, which I like so much. The terrace is perfect during the summer and it is so close to the lake. The service is superb! I will be back for sure.

We were greeted by a friendly bartender who sat us at a cozy little table by the piano! The staff was attentive and the food came out relatively quick! The appetizers were really yummy and the main entrees were really good! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants inexpensive, decent food and a cozy atmosphere!

Wallendorf is split into two parts, some on the Luxembourg side of the river and some on the German side. On the Luxembourg side there is a fine large hotel with wellness centre etc whereas on the German side there is the "am Häffchen", a personally run small inn. It has eight bedrooms which are very nicely decorated and very clean. We had one looking out to the front so we could see the church. There is some parking for residents within the building's courtyard but there is also free on-street parking. We enjoyed an excellent dinner when staying there. Everything was prepared and cooked freshly and it was obvious that the owner takes care choosing his ingredients. The wine list is his great passion so one can have an excellent choice as well as the opportunity to try a 'bin-end'.This is a very pleasant place to stay and/or eat in which I would fully recommend. As to activities for people staying in the area, it is a very pleasant part of the country and one can go for walks over fields, along the rivers, up and down the hills. There are good opportunities to see birds and butterflies or just soak up nature. If you want to stop at a café whilst out walking I would recommend those at camp-sites as there are not many conventional village cafés.The area is very seasonal so is quiet until Easter and then will come to life, hence pick your time depending whether you want tranquility or people everywhere!

This is a landmark Hotel in Berdorf! ...not only it is located in the middle of great surroundings and forest but also it possesses the style and atmosphere of a great rural Luxembourgish hotel. Not luxurious but cosy and with friendly atmosphere and with very good international cuisine!...and highly professional staff! Great for weekends and to get away from everything!

The Heringer Millen is located in the middle of the wonderfull Mullerthal region and offers you the best from local and french cuisine, cooked by the new Chef Lars Fiebig.
Very nice discovery. The Flammkuch's were excellent as was the cremant.Plenty of space for the kids to play outdoors, yet a petty no playthings are there, but that's no real issue.Next to the food their bread needs to be mentioned: it was delicious! The dame blanche dessert was probably the best dame blanche I ever tasted! So try it!

We enjoyed a quite good lunch in a pleasant location. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are moderate. The waitress who served us was very friendly. Another staff not showed so much interest and courteousness because as we left and asked to get our coats back she only said " behind the door on the left side" without making any move to assist us. She not even got the idea to open the exit door for us despite of having very few customers.Overall we enjoyed our lunch.
