I went to Medici’s based on the many enthusiastic reviews on tripadvisor. Sadly, the experience was a culinary disappointment. It is clear the chef tries to be creative and fancy, but they don’t quite manage to pull it off. My starter was served with a green salad which was bogged down in a heavy dressing, with some mayonnaise criss-crossed on top. This took all the freshness out of it and also didn’t look very appetizing. The scampi was really nice, but accompanied by slices of peeled lemon which were far too agressive for the delicate shellfish. The white asparagus was overcooked and quite fibrous. Hollandaise sauce however was home-made and rather lovely. With one exception (I received my first smile from the person in question when I left a tip...), the service was attentive and very friendly. The terrace is also quite nice, and in a more quiet side street. But despite these positive points, I’m afraid that I cannot recommend Medici’s, especially given their rather high prices.

I do love this place regardless if summer or winter. The food is well priced and in fact very nice.....you can even get some typical dishes from the region such as “Grüne Sauce” or “Kassler”. I have used this place as meeting point several times for large and small gatherings and every time it was a winner as you can walk off the meal exploring the amazing Klassik Stadt along with the vintage cars.Dear Mr. ReischThank you for visiting our restaurant Die Werkskantine and for being a loyal customer. We are delighted that you like the restaurant and are looking forward to welcome you again soon.Best regards,Katja HeiglOnline MarketingMEYER CATERING AND SERVICE GmbH

This restaurant passed the ultimate test. A friend in town told me to take my host in Frankfurt here for regional cuisine. The meal and atmosphere were so positive that we became good friends. Which is better than regional by itself.Food is about relationships -- see the restaurant's list of local partners (what purely commercial restaurants call supply chain). In this case, also relations between and among eaters. The lights are natural candlelight. The textures are natural -- wood. The service is low-key. All very mellow. The food is fantastic. We shared a salad (very crisp and tasty) and each ate a different main. I had pumpkin, which had a delicious pumpkin sauce, and wonderfully cooked mushrooms. She had black salsify -- too sweet and powerful to be a main, but a great side for me.The ingredients are same-old traditional ones, though the cooking and sauces make them.gaste like gourmet. My Pinot Noir was delish.Water was excellent, as I have come to expect in Germany.Altogether delicious. A bit pricey by Canadian standards, but then it's too late to protect our regional foods, and eating here is one way of making sure this cuisine stays around

I am rating this restaurant 2 stars because of the poor service. The food is average and price reasonable. We waited more than 20 minutes before ordering and 15 minutes for drinks. I got a salad that arrived pretty quickly but my friend's food arrived 30 minutes later!! I waited for my friends to get their food before eating, but that was very bad.A friend received his schnitzel after 20 minutes, but our other 2 friends had to wait 10 minutes more for the same dishes. Lacking organisation in the kitchen. Also one of the friends ordered smashed potatoes but he got backed ones, bit disappointing. After he asked the waitress, she said the smashed potatoes were finished (we believe it was a way to justify the kitchen. If they were lacking it, they could have said that upfront when ordering). At the end of the dinner, the waitress offered us some shots with cream, not my favourite but I appreciate it.About the location, the room where we were seating looked very dirty, specially the pillow on the chairs where we had to seat.

Wild German Romantik Restaurant with large Terrasse with view over the River.lovley Details inside.german Romantik j.eichendorff give the Inspiration .starts with breakfast, Lunch, Dinner,Nighty drink Outsider.big smokerslounge St the 1.floor.
The restaurant has a so called, "romantic decor", with some eclectic elements. The service was terrible and there was less than a dozen diners while we were there. The food was average and a bit overdone. We had the house made sauerbraten, (very dry with a little sauce, potato dumplings and overly seasoned red cabbage), a mixed greens salad with goat cheese and honey, (salad was drenched in salad dressing), and a chicken curry dish, (which was just okay). Overall, with the average food and poor service I doubt I will return.

On top of a hill, with a view over the city. Service is OK, there's some room for improvement. The food looks, smells and tastes great, but if you're not up for typical German cuisine, don't bother. Prices are actually OK, I was pleasantly surprised.

I would not recommend this place for dinner. Although the courtyard setting is very nice, the food is only average and most certainly overpriced. The main course for two guests in our group arrived late, and one was simply inedible. The fried potatoes were burnt on nearly all plates served. When this was brought to the attention of the waiters, the response lacked concern, and the only compensation offered was a complimentary dessert.

Wine Bar
Our first visit was 2 years ago, since then we kept in touch with Sabina and Georg on Facebook so when we were flying home from Indonesia we decided to stop by! Sabina did not disappoint. The flammkuchen was absolutely delicious and the selection of wines is superb! Sabina and Georg are fabulous host and Weinliebe's atmosphere is charming and comfortable. Great excuse to stop be Germany!!!!!Dear Judy! Thanks for taking the time to write such a lovely comment! We are really glad that you liked our little wine bar! Even more as you are traveling a lot and have thousands of places to compare....Thanks for coming by again - we hope to see you soon!!!!!

restaurant and coffeehouse in an old mill nearby the river "Nidda". Cross-over food, international breakfast, lunch, fresh cakes and italian coffee specialities. Beautiful summer terrace. Theater and cinema are located in the same house.
We had to sit outside as the inside was booked for a private party but it was a warm evening so it was pleasant enough. Had a very pleasant meal - the steak was delicious - and the food that my colleagues chose looked good too.
