Have been there some time ago and tried it again. No disappointment. I had the Matjes and Bratkartoffeln and they were still as I remembered them. The only sad realization was that they cut back on the Bratkartoffeln. The portion was significantly smaller than previously. Tatse was still good as I remembered it. Worth going, it is a small place and fills up fast.

It happens now and then that you have to pop in to some place in a hurry and just randomly choose a place. This was one of those occasions. It was raining cats and dogs in Lübeck, it was cold we were starved and our dog refused to walk anymore. We stood outside of a place called Miera and the door was halfopen so we entered. Worried by Scandinavian experience of dog not allowed sign on the walls but the nice blonde waitress just said, "all dogs are welcome" and I saw in her eyes she meant it. It was a warm, cosy place with not so many seats left but we managed to find us a table. The service was very quick and staff unusual friendly and caring. The menu had a lot of fish dishes but the lunch of the day for 9 euro was a Seafood lasagne and since Im a Lasagnaholic..... You understand! And OMG!! what a lasagne. My experience of a Baltic Paella the day before on the beach had made me somewhat sceptic to german latino cooking but with this lasagne i was close to heaven. I could hear angels singing for me. Definitely the best lasagne i ever had. Maybe the one I had in Tel Aviv 1976 could match, maybe. The crusty cheese on top was perfect with darkbrown surface, just as I like it, Stuffed with seafood and spinach and a lovely creamy lobstersauce. This is the Usain Bolt of lasagne! And the athmosphere was perfect, music soft with high latinoinfluences. And our dog was welcome. That´s critical because if they had said "no doggy" we had went somewhere else. My wife had the same but she couldnt eat all of it so we took a doggybag and guess who´s dog was happy that afternoon!!

I was in Lubeck by myself on business travel, and found this perfect spot to have a wonderful local dinner and beer. The schnitzel with mushroom sauce was tasty and filling, and their beer was fantastic. I had no problems communicating in English with the pleasant staff, and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Very cool place, and highly recommended!

Surprisingly there were very few people in the restaurant at lunchtime on a weekday. My dish with two varieties of fresh fish was excellent. A very historic place catering to the captains and officers of the shipping industry. Interesting ships models hang from the ceiling and a corner is devoted to display of navigation instruments. There is even a table reserved for those patrons who are ship's captains. Will visit again if I can make it back to Lubeck.

We went for dinner and sat in their lovely garden as it was a beautiful evening. It was a really pretty and romantic setting. We had the three course menu. The choice was limited to 1 of 3 starters. 1 of 2 mains, either chicken or beef cheek and either one desert or the cheese trolley. The food was delicious and interesting. The menu was written in a hard to read font in German and the staff couldn't give very detailed translations and this applied to the wine list too. As English is a universally spoken language it would have been helpful if there was an English translation as we weren't quite sure what we were ordering.Service was attentive and friendly. The food is expensive but wine is reasonably priced for a restaurant of this quality. We enjoyed our evening.

Visited this restaurant as an option close to my hotel. It closed early at nine pm that day but the lady was kind to let me sit. Service was fast and courteous. Ordered a veal schnitzel and potatoes, it was good and I was satisfied.

The waiter organised a nice table for us where we could sit with the buggy nicely next to us. Very friendly service, food was prepared quickly and was excellent.

As it was hot we ordered a HUGO, an aperitif made with Prosecco, elderflower syrup, lime, mint and soda (â¬6.50) which was a perfect start to a memorable meal. My husband ordered the Dorschbuletten with salad and Remoulade sauce (fish cakes with salad; â¬11.00) and I had the Paniertes Schweineschnitzel with Dörrtomaten-Nudelsalat (pork schnitzel with cold tomato pasta salad; â¬11.00). It was lovely sitting in the courtyard and our dishes were both outstanding. A Michelin quality meal café prices.
