I was in el Zapote tree inn and found out about the restaurant. Its a short walk in the wood from there or if you are in flores you take the lancha and ask them to bring you there! You can bring your swimsuit and enjoy the view, a nice meal or a drink! They have a lancha to bring you back! We all hade the buger, really huge with bacon and egg and fries for a late lunch and didn't have supper! I think they close at 7pm.Thank you for you opinion.. We feel alagados, you expect back Blessings!
This little restaurant, accessed by a thin alley/walkway is a hidden gem. We had shrimp and the local whitefish from the lake and both were excellent. It is on the very quiet part of the embarcadero, the street on the embarcadero side is flooded, no noisy or smelly traffic so you have a romantic dinner looking over the lake at night. Don't miss this spot in Flores, you'll be glad you found it.

I will start by saying I had maybe the best chicken quesadilla ive ever had so I was happy. My fiance was not too happy with the Margarita she ordered. I think there was a language barrier issue there. The vibe was nice but the music was really loud and at one point we were the only ones there.Hello, it's a pleasure to serve you. Sorry, our staff does not speak English and we really regret that the Margarita was not good. By the way, we really appreciate the great score you gave us. We will work on our language and sound problems. You're welcome, this will always be your home.

I ate dinner here this late afternoon. The location is perfect it sits right next to Lake Peten Itza. I sat outside on the covered patio and had a nice dinner with a great view. I ordered the chicken loaded nachos and a bottle of Coca Cola. The service was friendly and prices were reasonable.

In the heart of Flores, Guatemala, Café Arqueológico Yaxha is the place not only to feel the Mayan vibe, but to taste authentic pre-hispanic Mayan cuisine. One of the most affordable places to eat in Flores, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a t
Cafe Yaxha is an adorable restaurant serving delicious food, including a variety of authentic Mayan specialties. I enjoyed lunch at this restaurant during my trip to Guatemala in November 2016. Located in a colourful colonial building, the interior of the cafe was beautiful with colourful murals covering all of the walls. There were multi-coloured Mexican blankets at tablecloths. The restaurant was well-decorated and very cute. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The menu featured a variety of freshly prepared, home-cooked dishes including pastas, curry, stir fry, smoothies, salads, breakfasts, sandwiches and typical Maya specialties. There was plenty of vegetarian options. I ordered the vegetarian curry and Topoxte smoothie which were both tasty! The curry was so creamy and delicious and the smoothie was very refreshing. The cafe had really fast Wi-Fi, which I enjoyed using. The service was not the greatest, and I had to ask for a menu after sitting and waiting for a little awhile and then had to place my order at the bar, with no-one coming to my table to do so. It appeared that there was definitely a lack of staff and the service could use some improvements. Despite the poor service, their food was incredible and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal in Flores.

La Danta very good food and friendly staff, the best coffee in the Flore Island. Paninis, Pastas, Fish, Crepps and smothies.
Half a pound of very big shimps was enough to satisfy our hungry stomachs. La Danta Cafe in the hearth of Flores is worth a visit. You will not be disapointed if you order the shimps. Well prepared and served with a smile. To be recommended.

The location is nice, but beyond that there is no reason for vegetarians to visit this restaurant (can't speak regarding the meat dishes). We ordered the vegetarian tacos and another local dish and both were huge disappointments. The tacos were corn tortillas filled with an assortment of boiled vegetables with no individual taste, seemed like someone just poured soup over the tortillas. Aside from those two dishes the only additonal vegetarian dish was spaghetti. The chilaquilas were also very bad. Basically if you want a cheap happy hour go but don't order the food!

Artesanal Cuisine Restaurant, Grill And Wood Oven At The Sight Of The Customer. With A Great View Of The Peten Itza Lake.
Just down the malecon from my hotel, this great restaurant is right on and over the water. The staff are attentive and the food is very good. I had tacos (2 dinners), Caesar salad, and pizza (1 dinner). Relaxing atmosphere.
