Went here for a business lunch and had the best meal of my entire trip to Barcelona this time. Excellent service - the waiter recited the entire menu in English - that was attentive without being _too_ attentive.It's only a fixed-price menu with a good choice of starters and mains. I opted for potato soup as a starter and entrecote for the main, both of which were amazing. Top it off with a small slice of lemon tart and you have the perfect meal. Definitely go there if you're in the area.

Walking by the beaches of Barceloneta we found Salamanca a traditional Barcelona restaurant . According to the hundreds of photos of visitors hanging on the walls, most personalities that visit Barcelona and specially football players had a meal at least once at Salamanca. Food is very good mostly seafood cooked the Catalanian way. Service is good and prices are of a correct level.

We reached the restaurant about an hour before they started serving dinner, but the staff and owner (?) were very kind that they seated us at the bar and offered us some jelly candy while promising to start serving at 8pm sharp. We were recommended the red prawns and cockles, both were very fresh and perfectly cooked, naturally sweet and juicy, we also ordered toast with foie gras which literally melted in your mouth, the oysters with bloody mary shooter were so good we ordered another plate! The staff was very attentive and friendly, he helped us to call a taxi and also accompanied us to the taxi. It was a great dinner for our last day in Spain! I would definitely love to go back one day! Thank you guys for the wonderful night!

if you want an evening well spent either romantic, family or business, this is the place to be. The owner and his wife welcome you at the door and provide good advice and service Wines are excellent and with the food value for money. Enjoy !!
