This restaurant is a large thatch Palapa that faces the beautiful mountains . The food is offered on a price fixed menu of 12 CUCs per person. It was abundant. My husband had pork ribs and I had the shrimp. ( a bit disappointing, but I should have not ordered seafood in a land locked valley). The accompaning soup and side dishes were very good. This place is ideal for tosurists and large groups.

We went to Alberto Vitamina's paladar Bella Vista during our day out in Vinales for lunch. The paladar is situated a little outside of Vinales which makes it a real rural experience with fantastic views of the landscape. The paladar consists of various small buildings, the restaurant is 'in the open' but with a roof. We have been hosted by the lady of the house and she looked after us very well. We felt home from the first moment and it was the most homely experience we had during our two weeks in Cuba. The food was simple (pork roast, rice, black beans), but cooked extremely well. The salad from her garden was so fresh and tasty and so was the coffee. The coffee beans originating from their garden as well were grinded just before serving. It was the best coffee I had in my life! There were baby chickens running around just outside the paladar, there were vegetable fields and we felt really close to Cuban nature. At the end, we met Alberto Vitamina himself who was just rolling his cigar outside when we left. We had a nice chat with him as well. Highly recommended!

A number of Mediterranean and international food choices are available, but we did not go to Cuba for pizza and risotto. So we had Cuban food, which was fine and reasonably cheap. The service was kind but it was the atmosphere that was memorable. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the main street, you are really in the middle of the Cuban village life, with its loud conversations, its stray dogs, its smelly and noisy cars, and perhaps a beautiful sunset.

Based on the recommendation of our guide, we ate at the Buena Vista restaurant with the group that we were traveling with. I useTrip Advisor often, usually with great results. This place was listed as #5 in Viñales. The food was awful....the service was awful. The only good thing was the terrific view of the nearby mountains and a beautiful sunset. There is no menu, only kebabs of different types of meat. I ordered what was supposed to be tuna....though we were on a Caribbean island, this was a bad choice. The fish came and it looked like apiece of shoe leather. I have eaten and cooked a lot of tuna, and this did not resemble anything that I have had before. My husband had a kebab, which I could not eat because it was too salty. The sweet potato chips we had while we were waiting for our food were good. We were a table of 14, and our waitress had another large table. She was doing the best that she could, but the service was very slow. I ordered beer, and all they had was Heineken....no Cuban beer like the Bucanero that I had enjoyed the night before.

The restaurant has a beautiful view over the Vinales valley and the food is super good. The food is nicely presented and is really delicious. The people of the restaurant are really really friendly. Their english is not the best but you understand what they want to tell you.Besides the beautiful sunset over the valley we had a nice evening. To sum up I really recommend this place with it's nice atmosphere!

Initially recommended to us by Anita at Villa Cristal, Vinales.
We spent a lovely evening having dinner in this relaxing restaurant. Sit and watch the sun go down over the valley while dragonflies and little bats entertain you. It's necessary to take a taxi from the town to get here. The food is fine (not much choice, various meats with rice and salad, followed by fruit) - but you will have a lovely evening if it's fine.

I went on a tour with Cuban Adventures and I can say with confidence, everyone of us on the tour enjoyed the experience of listening to the tour of their farm, sipping on their fresh anti-stress cocktail, having fresh food cooked with organically grown ingredients.Oh and their flan was amazing. One of the fully-grown man in our tour group finished a whole flan by himself. Rachel shared in a Q&A, the anti-stress cocktail recipe is:"es un juguo de piña con 5 plantas medicinal anis menta hierva buena albaca cana santa una pisca de leche de coco la miel la canela y la vitamina r ron obsional todo ecologico disculpe la demora y buen procvecho"In short: pineapple, coconut milk, basil, anise, cinnamon, lemongras, mint. (+ don't forget "Vitamin-R" aka rum)

Arriving in Viñales is a luxury of nature, we all know that. You would expect to see beautiful mountains, caves, horses and humble people, thatâs for sure! But what you wouldnât expect is having such a delicious meal, and the most fancy national and international drinks for a simbolic price. Neigther would expect a place decorated like the most exclusive and expensive bars of Europe or America, specially having a 5 stars plus service and staff, and being so cheap in comparison with other places in the area or other places like Havana or Trinidad. Itâs then, a real pleasure to comeback every time Iâm in Viñales, cause I know I will always be surprised with the choice I make.Keep rocking it Cubar!!!

Agroecological Sunset Restaurant in Vinales offers traditional Creole meals from Cuba and especially from Vinales. A wonderful place for a sunset in the Valley of Vinales.
We went to this restaurant while on a G Adventures tour. This restaurant had amazing views and since we went at dusk, an amazing sunset. It was just magical. The service was also excellent. The only problem was the size of the servings. They were just too large so they took away the enjoyment of the meal. It made us feel sad that we wasted so much food when there are problems in getting enough food in Cuba.
