Hoping to find something even better than Dutch Pot, but not found here. This chain restaurant has a good menu selection and everything is done adequately. Decor is average, servers/service is ok and value is good. I would seek out Dutch Pot if I waned carribean food

You'd never know this is part of a chain. Really excellent Jamaican fare -- lots of choices -- and everything we tried delicious. My husband got one of their weekly specials -- very reasonable priced -- brown stewed chicken which came with choice of rice, plantains, and veggies (cabbage, etc). He said the sauce was great. Nice meaty pieces of chicken in a large lunch portion.I tried their ox tail -- not on special -- but worth every penny! Came with peas and rice (red beans & rice actually), and same sides of cabbage veggies and plantains. I licked my fingers with each piece and was so happy that I got a couple extra spoons of sauce over the rice. This is not a date food dish, and might be hard to eat if you've never had it before but I highly recommend it. Both sauces btw were a touch spicy but not overwhelming -- just enough to give personality (and make my nose run!)We were in heaven...Place is spotless. Was not busy --we ate in -- but doing a big takeout business while we were there. Worth a drive...and will definitely be back to try their BBQ or fried chicken or maybe their curried goat...

It is a very confusing place when it is your first time there, and if someone isn't available to explain the process to you, it is even more confusing. It is a by-the-pound buffet style place, and their lunch special is $5.00/pound, and a free can of either Coke or Sprite. We each got 2 pieces of chicken and some rice, and they were both right at a pound each. So the price isn't bad. The food was simply average and mediocre, so neither of us feel a need to go back.

Well stopped in last week with a group of friends. Ordered the curry chicken platter and the flavor is there with great taste. The spinach was really good with a sweet taste. This visit I ordered the doubles mild, but too spicy for me so went back and asked if they had a milder taste and they did and was happy to help me out.The doubles are awesome and the staff are friendly to even the newbie.Great job!

We been to Latin Cafe about 5 times. The first thing, if you ask for cafe con leche they will give you a little plastic stirrer. Really? like it was to go. You just don't serve cafe con leche at a table with a stirrer. Needed to ask for a real spoon each time. They don't know how to make a ham & cheese omelette, you don't slap two slices of cheese on top and call it. Am hopping it will improve and its the little things that make it good. (Management says it has resolved the spoon with cafe con leche issue), will see on the next visit. .

Dutch Pot Jamaican Restaurant

I believe this to be the best Jamaican food in the area. The food is consistently good. The restaurant has plenty of seating and has a drive thru at other locations. They even bottle some of their on natural fruit drinks. I was very satisfied with the food and the price was more than competitive. Especially at lunch $4.99 and it was a lot of food!
