Very nice place to eat. The menu is big but not everything is available. Only 1 out of 4 meals tasted good. Very good staff and service though.

Very friendly owners and staff. When we see them as we walk along the road, they are always welcoming. Cool relaxing place to hang out. Quite the change of pace from typical Dominican restaurant/bar. Located across the street from the beach. DJ accepts song requests. Good variety of music. Food is good.

Noisy with little kids splashing about in the pool that's a few feet from the seating area, usual full of local non-guests hanging about watching television and using the free wifi or smoking. The quality of food was just average. Server does only that: brings the food and sits at the bar to cat with friends or stay on the phone. One meal here was one meal too much.

Found Nico's Beach Lounge as we were driving along the the beach. Stopped in for lunch. Outdoor tables overlooking the ocean. Good Food. Cold Beer. Nice Service. It is a great place to hang out and relax during the day. It looks like it could be a lot of fun at night too.

If it were not for the convenience, we'd not have eaten there at all!Slow, inattentive service, food was not above average, but the prices were. Guess you're paying for the view. Tons of flies too. Get the chicken fingers, that was only item we ordered more than once for the kids (and adults too).Places across the street were better.

I visited long time ago on a Holiday. I came across these pictures and it looks even worse, as if it needs a facelift.The time I went (maybe 2007 or 2008) it was very crowded... since it was a popular spot.It didn't feel special enough for couples nor cool enough for families.Food was ok.It's a good spot for locals to go on a day off only... but if I was a tourist, I'd skip this place since there's really nothing to see or experience.

Not real busy tonight but that was fine Saturday and Sunday this place was packed. I had beef kabobs and pure de papas. Two generous kabobs were tasty. Three of our party had pasta and all were very pleased. I sampled my wifeâs Pasta Bolognese and was pleased at its taste. A hamburger and Pollo Cordon Bleu were also enjoyed. Friendly service.

We arrived at Sal Marina around 6pm, this restaurant is quaint, yet modern. There is not much seating, but what there was was nearly full by the time we left. The menu had a nice variety to meet everyone's needs and they had a slide show running with pictures of their plates. This was a good move on their part, as we ended up wanting/ getting more! My husband had steak, I had a hamburger, I do not recall what my parents had, but I know they were happy about it! I would return!

I have been vacationing in Juan Dolio the past five years. Every time I dine in El Meson restaurant. The presentation, quality, and taste of the food is excellent. They have good portions and value is worth it.
