Besides the slow service on a very busy day, La Casona is a mix of restaurant and "chincorro" to grad dinner and a drink while enjoying the cool breeze of Jayuya, would return again for the drinks and music. I must note the service was slow due to the number of people, but they gave us delicious coffee for free to make up for it.

My friend and I wen to Jayuya for a road trip. The weather was beautiful. We decided to try La Casita because a friend of mine recommended it. Definitively that it is a grate place. Place has parking inside and in the street also.We were immediately greeted and seated by Irmarie, the waitress. She was great!! She was funny, professional and knowlabage about her job. We asked for Sangria. It was excellent and served in a huge jar! Also was a young lady, Zaimara wasentertained us with her grate voice! We tried the chicken breast with fresh mushrooms topped with manchego cheese. The "mamposteao" rice was at other level! It's well cooked and grate flavors. It is not the traditional mix of rice and beans that you may find in other places. Instead it has Arborio rice and beans in a special blend of spices. The dessert. Oh my God! was delicious and exquisitely prepared. We asked for guava custard served with icecream. Everything was delicious! I highly recommended this place.

This was our third visit to this place. Like always, the food was great. However, the place needs several repairs. Chairs were broken and bathroom appliances needs renovations. Still, we enjoyed our time and personnel is very attentive and professional. Totally recommended
