Hit the spot! Just like home! The patties were hot and tasty. The service was quick and I was in and out without a wait in less than 5 minutes.

Was in the area of Irvington NJ, and was craving for West Indian breakfast and found this restaurant. It was open before 8am which was great and it had great parking so no need to worry about that. It didn't have the breakfast I wanted so I had oxtail and peas and rice. The server was super friendly and the food was great. They also have lots of West Indian drinks and natural juices available. Try it and you will thank me. Enjoy

With some Jamaican friends craving some Jamaican foodâ¦so where to go? Since we didnât have time for a complete sit-down meal we opted for the fast-food option that the Golden Crust provides.Definitely nothing fancy, this hole-in-the-wall location provided the quick solution. I got the Jerk Chicken Patty. My friends got both a meat and a chicken patty. But the highlight was the Soup of the Dayâ¦a tangy spicy blend with bone included at no extra charge! Ha, no joke, that bone came with plenty of meat and plenty of fun memories of my trip to Jamaica.Oh did I mention that they sell âTingâ too? It was the perfect liquid taste treat to complete my selection. There is only a couple tables and chairs inside so the intent is for you to grab and go. But we chose to stay a few minutes to sit and enjoy the Jamaican food and atmosphere. It was especially enjoyable to listen to my friends banter back and forth with the quick-witted (and edgy) Jamaican counter help.Nothing fancy hereâ¦just Jamaican Fast foodâ¦with an attitude!
Ate at this restaurant in late March, and what a treat! I had the curry chicken, which is my favorite Jamaican dish. It was the least Americanized Jamaican food I've tasted since visiting Jamaica many years ago. If you've had authentic Jamaican food and feel like you can't get it here in the US, you have GOT to try this place. It will knock you socks off!!
