We ate dinner here twice during our short stay in Bouillante area. They have a outdoor grill where they cook all of their dinner options. The fish was delicious. You have to reserve fish early but dinner is not served till around 7:30. Chicken is readily available and you can dine in or take out. It is a place where the locals eat so you know it is good and reasonably priced. They offer some vegetable items: salad, au gratin vegys. The au gratin green papaya was delicious.

Restaurant opposite the zoo providing (I think) the only meal options in the area other than snacks at the gift shop at the zoo.The food - when it arrived, service was a little slow - tasted good and the setting, overlooking the rainforest, and decor of the restaurant were very nice.I didn't appreciate having to eat at the bar (with young kids in tow) while there were so many empty tables. We were told there were reservations for these tables... for mid week lunchtime... yet they remained unoccupied for our entire sitting, until other families started arriving clearly without reservations were shown to them. So I'm a bit dubious that they were ever reserved.

We found ourselves in Bouillante and found Chez Fernande by happenstance, simply driving by. It is an uncomplicated place with good local fare. The staff helped us choose something from the menu, as we were new to creole food and weren't sure what was what. All was tasty. It seems to be a place where townspeople drop by to talk. It was by no means filled with tourists like us. A good experience.

We came here once about 10 years ago, and we came back for the intense views. I'd recommend a reservation for the best possible views of the ocean. The service was very good. We weren't overwhelmed by the quality of the food though. The seafood dinner was fine, just not great. The views earn it my four stars though.

Went here after checking TripAdvisor for restaurants in the area. Its not tourist season so a lot of things are closed. Stopped in for dinner. I had punch dada expecting some sort of mixed concoction and ended up with their rum. Wasn't a fan of it but I don't like rum unless it's mixed. I got the colombo poulet since everything else was fish (I don't like fish). It was pretty good. Good portions. The lady didn't speak English but she was very kind and helped us the best she could. I also got the banana dessert. Also was good. For a good decent meal stop on by.

Really top notch world class cuisine with a serious Guadaloupean twist. One eats well in Gwada, it's France after all, but wow, flavour, presentation, selection, service... not to be missed if in the Bouillante area, worth driving to from anywhere... Unfortunately for us, in our week there, we only managed to go once since they are closed Sunday through Tuesday nights and we were busy during the days. Truly fabulous...

"Aux 4 Mondes" restaurant offers world kitchen, nice & simple dishes that will make you travel trough your senses. The restaurant is made of different little spaces : a cozy deck, the creole garden, the bar and the dining area. Situated on the west coast
I arrived right after they open, but was told the kitchen doesn't open another half an hour and I should wait in the lounge area outside. When I was finally seated at the table 30mins later there was only one other guest behind my table. About 20 mins after I ordered Menu Monde, Shrimp Wok, the server brought my dinner - or so I thought even though it looked different from what I expected. While I already started on the meal partially, I heard the other guest behind me call the waitress and say something in French. The waitress then came over to tell me they mixed up our orders and served mine to the other guest and I got hers, which I already touched. The server took mine back to the kitchen but brought me the plate right from the other table because she didn't touch it, supposedly. There was no further explanation or apology from anyone during or after dinner. I paid my bill and left feeling mistreated.

We visited twice for dinner and really enjoyed our meal both times. Great inexpensive wine selection, unusual pizza toppings (try the banana, no kidding!), friendly staff. We bought a bottle to bring home only 8 Euro. Worth a stop!

This was a quality restaurant that served quality food. We had a very nice table for four overlooking the ocean. We had the tuna and marlin skewers and they were great with nice fresh fish. the presentation was also very nice. The staff was pleasant and worked with our language barrier. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was a bit more upscale for the area
