Sussex (/ˈsʌsɪks/), from the Old English Sūþsēaxe (South Saxons), is a historic county in South East England corresponding roughly in area to the ancient Kingdom of Sussex. It is bounded to the west by Hampshire, north by Surrey, northeast by Kent, south by the English Channel, and divided for many purposes into the ceremonial counties of West Sussex and East Sussex. Brighton and Hove, though part of East Sussex, was made a unitary authority in 1997, and as such, is administered independently of the rest of East Sussex. Brighton and Hove was granted City status in 2000. Until then, Chichester was Sussex's only city.

Had lunch here today. Was very good. There were 6 of us and we were all served at same time. Our meals ranged from burgers to fish and chips to hot sandwiches. Fresh cut fries were excellent and the service was great. Wish I had got our servers name as she was very friendly and knew what she was doing.Very pleasant atmosphere and decent prices. have been here a fair number of times and have never had a complaint.

I had a desire to eat a Donair one day and went to Greco in Sussex and ordered the 1/2 lb. baby. It was awesome as expected. I forgot how messy these things are with all the garlic sauce supplied. My wife wasn't pleased with my breath later that day:( So, bottom line..very tasty but messy.

How could you ever go wrong with real burgers that are super juicy and are served with homecut crispy, perfectly cooked fries! Try the deep fried mars bar as it is just the best.

This place does not disappoint, love their pizza, garlic fingers, donairs, donair pizza is the best.Prices are very reasonable.There are a couple of tables for eat-in but take out is the typical.

Good but we were in line for at least 15 minutes to get our subs. I felt bad for the workers, but they stayed polite and as efficient as they could. Next time we'll try not to arrive at suppertime.

During training at the inn's conference hall, I had the opportunity to have three lunches which were very tasty. The chicken burger with fries and the steak mushroom melt (see photo) with garden salad were especially scrumptious. After hearing about other great dishes on the menu from coworkers, I commented I'd drive from Moncton to Sussex just to have a meal here. Highly recommended if you are in the area or if you're passing through it's definitely worth a stop.

This motel, in the middle of nowhere, has certainly seen better days. Bathroom was incredibly tight, showerhead was clogged with poor pressure, and sink space was sparse. Nice flat screen with good wifi. Smoke alarm sounded in the middle of the night-not sure why. Restaurant was amazing. The staff was very accommodating. Food was delicious with large portions.

Quick and easy, fresh and delicious. I don't stop in as often as I should, but every time I do, I'm left impressed with the quality of their baked goods and homestyle feel to their daily lunches.

I always enjoy coming to this restaurant when Iâm in Sussex. They have great food! And, they have a fantastic bakery section. They also make great tasting coffee. My only feedback would be to stop giving out straws. More and more places are trying to reduce their environmental footprint and this is an easy way to start.
