Decor is tired looking but clean. Staff friendlt although sometimes slow and forgetful. Breakfast is the usual fair, nothing too fancy. The take out pizza is EXCELLENT! Prices are two for one and great value. Toppings are fresh and tasty. A must try.
It's a great place to stop for lunch, a snack or a delicious sandwich during your visit to The Royal Tyrrell Museum. We stopped to enjoy a turkey sub after our visit to the incredible museum of dinosaurs. It's quick and yummy before getting back on the road to Calgary.

We stopped here for gas and lunch because of the ample RV parking. The waitresses are friendly here, and the prices are normal. Typical truck stop. Breakfast was pretty good, normal portions but not overly large like some places we have stopped.
Before I left for Medicine Hat, I wanted to stop downtown and snag a hot cup of coffee and perhaps a danish while I read my paper. Breakfast was included in the Super 8 I had just left and while it looked great, I prefer the business of local shops. This isn't a fancy bakery but it was just what I was looking for. The owner was beaming and I must admit, her infectious smile was a great start to my day. Before I headed over to the coffee area, I noted that she made sandwiches and heck, the "Hat" is two hours away. I could starve! I snagged one of her homemade egg salad sandwiches for the road and with the business section of the Calgary Herald safely tucked under my arm, I headed out for my journey. I will swing by and visit her again in the future.
This is a very nice lunch spot! We had salads, which were fresh and delish. Mine was spinach & strawberries; each element was perfect. Salads come with a choice of roll, biscuit, garlic bread or cornbread. When cornbread is a choice, it's no choice! And, yes!, there is a cookie on the bill! Sweet!

Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a whole lot of sharable starters - we serve up comfort food with an original twist. And since we believe you can never have too much of a good thing, every entrée comes with your choice of two sides. But food isn't the onl

We went to church on Sunday and because we don't live near Strathmore, wondered if there would be anything worth eating left on the buffet. Shouldn't have owrried. There was loads of food available. This place is a carnivoire's deliget: beef in its many forms, turkey, ham...Didn't see any baked or mashed potatoes. Just hash browns. They don't go well with roast beef or turkey or ham.Tons of dessert selections.Thank you to Sandra for good table service.Washroom floor sticky in front of urinal. Spent $50 for two for the buffet. Will go again.

We were two senior travellers staying at nearby Travelodge in Strathmore for a wedding and ate dinner twice at the Station. We fully recommend you visit here for great tasting food and very good service. The interior boasts photos and historic artifacts from by gone days that capture your interest and the decor is centred upon that theme throughout. It has sort of a rustic feel but is far from being outdated and is as classy as a high end establishment. The price point is a tad higher than nearby restaurants and you will pay a pretty penny for some high grade Alberta steak. The soups are made in-house and are really good. We like fish and went with the fish tacos which we really enjoyed. We spied some people nearby consuming a desert aptly called "Mile High Pie" and if we had had room would have ordered the same. We can't speak to the pub located downstairs so we have no comments to share about it. They do have a happy hour specials for certain days of the week, otherwise we thought the regular fare for drinks was on the high side. $7 and a half dollars for local beer seemed pricy for us. Apart from this we would recommend this place for a meal.
