This place has been serving locals for many years. Lovely location with view of ship traffic going through the canal. The food is good home cooking...... Nothing fancy. The specialty is Greek and broasted chicken. Fish and chips and perch dinners also very good. They serve one of the best BLOODY CAESAR'S I have every had. However, .......service, although very friendly, is not optimal. We were there on a Monday evening when every other restaurant in town is closed. ......SERIOUSLY!!!! Our server explained that it had been busy as an excuse for some obvious Issues.....eg) They use cloth tablecloths. Ours was dirty. We pointed it out to our server who told us that it had been busy and they do usually get changed between guests. If that is the case, why were we told to sit anywhere when we came in?????? Being an old established restaurant in town does not mean the owner should slack off on the simple basics of hospitality. Dirty table cloth is not something welcoming. If this is the case, have clear glass or plastic Tops over the tablecloths that can be worried down between eating guests. We will go back....... Only because there aren't many other choices in this small town.

Simply one of the best fish and chips I've had. The dining room is very plain and could use some refurbishing, but there's always take out. Enjoy!Glad to hear you enjoyed your order. We'll take a look at the dining room decor and see what we can do.Jason

Brewery and Restaurant in downtown Port Colborne with a variety of beers brewed in house with a full service bar and restaurant. The menu will serve classic brew pub fare from pizza, wings, burgers and a number of local and regional favourites.
All was fine, service was good, staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, but the place lacked a comfortable Vibe. The decor was stark, prices for what you obtained was on the high side. 10 Wings= $16.00 Ouch. Other items, over priced.Overall no major problems, but been there, done that. The place needs some fine tuning to make it have it's own vibe.Good luck.Try it, you may just find it ok for you.Dr.RicoCanada

Thought we would try something new and found this gem! The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend the chicken souvlakia and the scallops. As an appetizer the crab cakes are awesome. We went back the following week and loved it even more. Staff was awesome. The owner /chef came out and asked how we enjoyed everything. Lovely. We will be back.

The Greek salad with chicken was spectacular. Absolutely the best I have ever had. The chicken had been marinated and grilled where it had a perfect crust and was juicy inside and so tender it melted. The salad itself was very fresh and prepared in consistent bite sized pieces. Generous in size and very humbly mentioned on the menu. If I was serving something that perfect it would be my signature dish. The food and ample parking would be what keeps me coming back. The service would make me think twice bout a return though. Our server did not ask about drink refills nor return to see if our meals were alright after serving them. We even had to try and make eye contact to eventually get a bill. They were not packed by any means so it detracted from an otherwise great experience.

This is on the bike trail. We eat outside. It was beautiful. The service was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the tuna sandwich. What a fantastic treat. It was really sushi on bread. I loved it. My wife does not eat raw meat so be advised. But remembered it was great. Gee, forgot what my wife had. We will definitely return. Hint: It is right at a bridge where the bike train is a little crazy. Keep an eye out so you donât miss it. Many bikers know the place. Just ask.

New neighbours, who have become good friends suggested we should go to The Belmont in Port Colborne. A little hesitant at first, but once we arrived, the evening morphed into a great experience. Our waitress Julia is certainly one of the better servers I have encountered. Her wit and patience was admirable. Great pizza and wing combos. Inexpensive, yet prepared very well and extremely tasty. Thanks to Julia, for recommending the roasted garlic and pepper dry rub on the wings. Excellent beer choices. The menu is extensive and we are looking forward to our next trip to try some of he other great looking items on the menu. Suggest a reservation so you don't get disappointed. Great place!!!

Since moving to Port Colborne 18 months ago, I have gone to Archies on numerous occasions for a ready made, delicious, nutritious meal. I am never disappointed. One of my favourite things to order is the turkey club sandwich with fries. It is my guilty pleasure!

Came for lunch with 2 others on a Saturday. They werenât too busy, didnât wait too long. I had the shrimp dinner, it was plenty of food, good coleslaw and fresh fries. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the prices were reasonable. Looks like mainly take-out but thereâs plenty of seats if you want to stick around to finish it off.
