Discover Restaurants offering the best Canadian food in Osoyoos, British Columbia, Canada. Osoyoos (/ɒˈsuːjuːs/, historically /ˈsuːjuːs/) is the southern-most town in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia between Penticton and Omak. Near the border with Washington state, the town is also adjacent to the Indian Reserve of the Osoyoos Indian Band. The origin of the name Osoyoos was the word sẁiẁs (pronounced "soo-yoos") meaning "narrowing of the waters" in the local Okanagan language (Syilx'tsn). The "O-" prefix is not indigenous in origin and was attached by settler-promoters wanting to harmonize the name with other place names beginning with O in the Okanagan Country (Oliver, Omak, Oroville, Okanogan). There is one local newspaper, the Osoyoos Times.

It's such a shame about this place as it's a fairly nice looking restaurant, certainly spacious and airy enough, and with interesting decor. The service is wonderful and everything seems to be great including the Caesar Salad which was fresh, tasty, and perfectly dressed. Then we got to the Pepperoni Pizza: The base is something which most closely resembles a tortilla! It has the same texture and when you look at the base it looks a lot more like a quesadilla than a pizza crust! Sure, why don't we have a PB&J on a lasagna sheet instead! Thoroughly yuck!

A must go to place while in osoyoos bc . Great presentation and great food to match. The portions are large. Food is always hot and fresh. The staff is very friendly. Although sometimes the service is slow. Still our first time going they were just finishing with multiple hockey teams , they seated us quickly and then came over to apologize for slow service and could we please be patient. They were trying to deal with the teams paying their bills . The cook is wonderful lady. We were so glad we waited since we moved here we keep going back

Our evening service includes a range of local wines, and dessert wines along with our feature sweets. The Restaurant at Watermark seats 30 with light plates and a selection of gourmet charcuterie and house made desserts. During the wine season and summer
The Restaurant at Watermark is a fabulous dining destination in Osoyoos, from its excellent service, to its spectacular view, delicious food, and great wine list!We have dined here several times, and it's always perfect. This time we shared the charcuterie plate, which was excellent (I loved the peach chutney!), and then I had the Arctic Char (except it was substituted with wild salmon because they had run out of char - either way, it was perfect). And we shared the cheesecake for dessert (OMG - it's SO good!).Highly recommended, and we will be sure to go again the next time we're in Osoyoos!

We went to Smittys on a Sunday morning for breakfast. There was a lineup right out the door so we put our name on the wait list. After about a 20 minute wait we were seated and coffee was promptly brought to our table. We both ordered an omelette with ham, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese. When you order an omelette you can choose any two sides from a long list of choices. We both chose the fresh fruit cup, my husband picked the chunky hash browns while I chose the pancakes. He definitely made the better choice! The hash browns were crisp and delicious while the pancakes, in my opinion, were not particularly good...they were heavy and had a flour taste to them. I only had a few bites and left the rest. The omelette were delicious. Really very good! The bill before tip was $30. A very popular busy place for breakfast so donât go here if you are in a hurry.

The Sage Pub has been serving up great food for many years in Osoyoos. Our large menu offers something tasty for all to enjoy and our large portions leave you happily satisfied. Our large cocktail & beer menu ensure you never go thirsty! Open 11am to 1am
We went to the Sage Pub because we couldn't get into our preferred Italian restaurant and the concierge recommended the Sage for great pizza. It was a short walk from the hotel so we gave it a try. Wow! The noise level was something else. This is sports bar amplified. It is probably the loudest place we have ever been, but I can't fault the food or service. We had a caesar salad for two to share, pizza, and veggie fajitas. All good. There were no IPAs on tap and my wine, 6 oz of Pinot Noir, gave me a hangover. So next time I would order food to go and have our own beer and wine in the comfort of our quiet hotel room.

Both my wife and I ordered the lasagna, mine with meatballs and hers without (overlooking a bit of theft). Mine proved to be much juicier than hers, but both were excellent. Food, service and decor all have much going for them.

This is our second visit here, the first time was amazing, this visit a big disappointment. The waitresses mixed up orders then were quite rude when corrected. Several of the dishes were also disappointing, dry cutlets, no curry in a dish that was supposed to have curry. Because there were 8 of us we were automatically charged 18% tip, I feel this is an insult, this should be our perogative especially when the service was so poor.

A really lovely spot to enjoy a nice lunch and wine. Highly recommend this patio restaurant. We enjoyed our charcuterie and salmon. Needless to say, the wine was awesome and we bought several bottles. The server, I believe her name was Sam, was attentive, friendly and provided exceptional service. Can't wait to come back!
