It was a beautiful day for walking and St-Sauveur is perfect. While you are there check out this smoke meat place. Very nice smoke meat as we took the classic smoke meat plate for one. Not the best smoke meat but was good. This was my first time and when I got the bill, there was a change if $2.00 for sharing. I found that charge a bit cheap for a busy restaurant. I was not impressed. They also have a huge smoke meat poutine. The place is small and you might have to wait, I would not. If you get in good, but I will not wait again.

Went for dinner one evening in August 2018. I had swordfish and my partner had filet mignon. Both were excellent. They also have a very good pinot grigio decently priced. What was disappointing was the salad, and the veggies accompanying main course did not seem to be 100% fresh. Very surprised as we've eaten at Gibby's many, many times, both at their St. Sauveur and old Montreal locations, and we've never had veggies that did not look 100% fresh. Maybe it was just an off day. The meat, the fish, the wine and the dessert were all excellent and therefore we overlooked the sub-standard veggies.

The menu is reasonable with a decent selection of appetizers and entrees. The quality of the food left something to desire. The veggie burger was poor and the fries cold. The steak was alright but nothing outstanding. I was expecting better, but it is hard to find in this town.

Bistro cafe with alcohol permit offering soups, bread bol soups, paninis, salads, desserts, pastrys, coffee and exclusive blended iced products that can only be find in Quebec at Café Mountain
First visit - chose the smoked salmon sandwich with salad. It came in toasted bread filled with a hefty serving of smoked salmon with sliced red onion tomato, goat cheese, and Swiss cheese. The salad mesclin with tomato cut very small...it was all very good, the cafe filtre as well. Service very professional and friendly. Looking forward to spending a summer afternoon with friends in the terrace. They also have a choice of cakes even a gluten free one.Merci beaucoup pour ce beau commentaire. En espérant vous reservir à nouveau. Nous sommes heureux de votre satisfaction.

Breakfasts! The Petit Cafe chez Denise is first of all a nice place to come for the quality and the large variety of breakfasts, the mountains of fresh fruits accompanied with a coffee made with a unique grinding, tested and approved by regular customers
They have an extensive menu of well-priced items. The service is friendly and attentive. I had the chef salad (gigantic) and my wife the grilled cheese with duck... who would conjure that combination? She loved it! There's a nice casual buzz in the place the compliments the friendly service attitude of the staff.

The Rio Restaurant, located in the heart of St Sauveur des Monts on 352 Rue Principale, is the home of the âBest Baby Back Ribs in the Laurentiansâ. A favourite of locals, the Rio offers mouth-watering fresh home-cooking, including fall-off-the-bone Baby
Me and my husband wanted to eat at a good steak so, after reading many reviews we decided to go to le Rio. Im glad we did. We decided to order the Table DâHote and we were both very pleased with our choices. Since the soup, until the dessert, everything tasted great and we felt that the price was an honest price for the food we had. One small remark: I wouldnât go with my kids as the whole meal took around 1:30 hours, which, for us - couple -was not a problem. Apart from that, everything was very good. Iâll absolutely return. Hi, Thank you for your review! We are very happy you enjoyed your meal at Le Rio. We hope you visit us again soon!

Lola 45 , is a trendy Bistro, with a market cuisine that change every week, the wine list is crisp, fun and brings you everywhere on the planet !
We went to Lola 45 for a special occasion. We had the luxury of eating outside right in front of the village church. Lola 45 is located in a great location. We had the octopus and the duck heart as a first course. The octopus was well cooked and although we were a surprised at first when the waiter told us there were chopped grasshoppers in the meal, it actually did not taste anything different. While this should not prevent anyone from having the octopus, you have to wonder if it was really necessary to add that to the meal. We also add the duck hearts and the meal was really good.As a main course, we had the trout confit and the sweetbreads. The trout was perfectly cook, tender and with a wonderful colour. A must try for anyone looking for a fish meal. The grilled sweetbreads were also perfectly cooked and the carrot/orange puree gave a great acidity twist. One downside. While I know kale is somehow popular among a certain crowd, do we really need to put this in a meal in a restaurant where people go to enjoy a nice dinner? I would strongly recommend removing this from the meal. For dessert, we had the crumble and the chocolate cake. Again, great choices. Finally, the wine list was imaginative and we always appreciate restaurants who go the extra mile to find special wines. On the downside, 2 times during the meal, we were told the wines we wanted were out of stock. And replacing a Sauternes with a Gaillac is not the same. So while we will clearly be coming back, we still feel there is room for improvement. And please do not put a tasting menu on the menu if it is not available.

Decor is beautiful but with those kind of prices you know that you are paying for it big time! Food selection is limited.

Just 5 Minutes out of Sainte-Sauveur in the little town of Morin Heights. All kinds of foods for your taste. Now Open for Supper
Last night we decided to eat at this restaurant. We were 2 couples. We arrived early, the location is ideal, lots of green, flowers, very peaceful. We sat outside and had a beer, they have a nice selection of microbreweries, the lady that served us also brought a plate of home made chips, fresh of the stove. They were delicious, cruncy and very tasty. We went inside to eat. The menu is not huge, but it has a large selection of pasta, they have great burgers, also steak, fish and chips. As a table we ordered two rack of ribs and the ladies shared a club sandwich and a ceasar salad.Let me tell you the ribs were scrumptious, fall of the bone delicious. The ceasar was very nicely dressed with real bacon and very tasty. The club comprised a full breast of chicken, huge. We four promised to come back, it was a very time and the food better than I've had in a long time.
