We are a small family owned and independent restaurant. We offer Italian and Local Favorites with Grill, Pasta, and Pizza items as the core of our menu. We try to keep things simple with a readable menu, clear descriptions, two sizes for most dishes, and
Moncton was a stopover for us. My husband and I had supper here. The interior of the restaurant was very nice and it had quite a vibe to the place. We were greeted quickly and seated. Our server was quite good at explaining the menu items. We shared the calamari as an appetizer. It was nothing special. I had the seafood linguini with scallops, shrimp, lobster and salmon. The pasta was fresh and good and the seafood was very good but the salmon was over cooked. My husband enjoyed the flavour of his Pork Marsala. The bread served with the meal was excellent and very fresh. I would return to this restaurant as there were many menu items I would like to try.

Great lineup of beers on tap and a delicious food menu that includes Moncton's original wood fired pizza oven. Check out our special weekend menu as well - something different every week!
Another disappointing restaurant - greasy sandwich, unremarkable fries, onion rings were over cooked. Server did remove 3/4 of the charge for my sandwich, so there's that. Beer flight was fun, except for the unknown substitutions not listed.

Welcome to Greater Monctonâs gastronomical gem. An open kitchen concept awaits you with all the ingredients necessary for a truly outstanding culinary experience. Following the seasons, Bistro 33 offers a tantalizing menu featuring flavors of the world as
Maybe I'm just not cultured enough for a place like this, but I consider this meal to be the worst of our recent 12-day tour of the area.As a tour group, we had to pre-order our meal, so I chose Haddock Mornay, since this is located in one of the Maritime Provinces, I expected to get fresh fish and plenty of it. Wrong. My piece of fish was smaller than a McDonalds' filet o'fish sliced in half horizontally, and denuded of the coating. Served on a bed of white rice, which was crunchy, and coated with a sauce that should have enhanced the flavor, but didn't. I could have eaten wet cardboard and found more flavor. The best thing about this dinner was it gave our group a baseline for our meals the rest of our trip, especially for those who had chosen the Haddock. I recommended to the tour leaders that they should find another area restaurant for future trips, and met general agreement among my fellow travelers.

If you are looking for a 5-star dining experience in Moncton, visit the Windjammer in Hotel Beausejour. The table-side dining experience was impressive. We had the classic Caesar Salad and succulent Chateaubriand. Weâve never had a better meal. This restaurant compares to Bull and Bear in NYC and The Ivy in London.Hi NewBrunswickDuffy, thank you so much for your review! Thank you for comparing us to such fine restaurants. We certainly strive to provide a service that is above and beyond anything you'll find in Moncton. Frédéric's Caesar Salad is famous in these parts too! We're glad to hear that you had an amazing experience with us and we look forward to hosting you again!

Location: In the downtown core. Street parking is available (metered) and free on weekends. The place: OK. I say this with all due respect - but the place reminds me of one of those all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants you find in US strip malls. It doesn't really have a whole lot of ambiance and seems to cater to Moncton's senior citizens. Now, not that there is anything wrong with this - we just felt out of place there. Also, there were no lobster in the aquarium - should there be? Hmm...The goods: I don't quite understand the raving reviews of this place. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. I got the Devils' Duo which included scallops and shrimp in a tomato garlic sauce, vegetables and I swapped out fries with a Caesar salad. The salad was great (a bit too much dressing but no big deal). The scallops were OK. The shrimp looked like the frozen variety that you buy in grocery stores but were fine. Obviously I can't 100% state that this was the case but that's what I suspect. The sauce was good, as were the vegetables. My friend had the shrimp jambalaya and it was OK.Service: When we arrived, we didn't have a reservation. We didn't have a reservation because we didn't expect to come here. So when we walked in, I asked if we sat ourselves or if we had to wait to be seated. I asked because literally, every other restaurant in Moncton has a sign that states 'Please wait to be seated' except this place. The person was a little snarky with her reply and I didn't appreciate the attitude. Our waitress was very nice. That said, when my friend ordered her dish, she asked if she could swap out the potato side for salad. Her dish was on the same menu as mine, where it states at the top that DISHES include X, Y and Z. The waitress didn't seem to understand what my friend was asking and perhaps I'm mistaken, but her tone seemed a little condescending when she told her that jambalaya was a rice dish. Umm, yeah, thanks - we know what jambalaya is. Apparently that dish didn't include potatoes. And we're supposed to know this, how? Anyway - on her way to the loo, my friend overheard the waitress talking about how my friend was confused or some nonsense like that, to other staff. Not cool or professional for that matter. If some of your dishes exclude sides then state it on the menu. Price point: I think it was over $30 which was way overpriced.

We visit this place usually 2 or 3 times a month and it is usually excellent but this week was not very good. The first order of food came out undercooked and was returned then the second replacement order came out cold. My sons prime rib was cold so they took it back and tried to re heat it which was a bad move as that dried it out they should have just given him a new piece. Even the last order of food my wifeâs prime rib sliders were over cooked. The Manager Sabastien plus our waitress were both excellent and made it right for us. Thatâs one of the main reasons that we eat here if you have a bad experience they will make it right for you. Food here is always excellent.

What a wonderful restaurant here in Moncton. If I lived here Iâd be a regular for sure. Quality food. Excellent service. Everything was delicious. Best crab cakes Iâve had in a long time (perfectly crispy on the outside and moist in the middle). Excellent desserts and good coffee!

Amazing chef! The seafood was delicious, fresh and interesting ingredients, and handmade pasta was divine. Amuse bouche was a lobster bisque which was incredible! The price was higher than average but the food reflects a much higher quality than your average seafood restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a special dining experience while in Moncton.

Unique sauces and not greasy recipe made me super happy. Maple chicken pizza and woodsmans (potato pizza) were both fantastic and their garlic fingers are great too! My cat tried to steal my leftovers!
