Reviews on Canadian food in Midland, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1878, Midland is one of the main towns in southern Georgian Bay and provides notable historic sites of interest. Some of the most popular sites include the Jesuit mission of Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, which has been turned into an incredibly accurate living museum that depicts missionary life in the 17th century. Bring your camera to the Roman Catholic Martyrs' Shrine which commemorates five missionaries from the local area who were martyred during the Huron-Iroquois wars. Animal lovers and families flock to the Wye Marsh Wildlife Center located on 3,000 acres of wetlands, fen and forest.

We used to go here quite a bit but noticed the quality has been lacking recently. Unfortunately, weâve found another place in town to go for breakfast. Itâs not a bad breakfast place, but thereâs certainly better for around the same price range.

We were here on a bus trip. We did not see the menu because we had pre-ordered. The staff were a bit harried as we were on a fairly tight schedule. I think everyone enjoyed their lunch and I would recommend this place.

Traditional British Pub Full Service Restaurant 12 Draught on Tap
Definitely not a dive but rather a jewel. Cozy, kinda Irish atmosphere. Plenty on tap of the good beer/ale. No need for twenty types as there is definitely one for the beer drinker in you. Food OMG delicious and plenty. Try the poutine to begin. We did just the plain and when we were done sharing we were not sure why we ordered a main meal! Shepardâs pie with soup of the day, partner had beef and Brie on a roll sautéed onions and Greek salad. We are still here and perhaps foolishly have ordered dessert! We have a two hour drive to our destination but perhaps we need a motel as a second beer has our name on it. Bottom line, friendly, atmosphere, great food you need to pull your stool up and set a while. Dessert is about to be served!

The Boathouse Eatery is located at the town Docks overlooking beautiful Georgian Bay. With numerous areas to sit from inside dining, outdoor patio, upstairs private dining, we're sure you will have a favourite section. Our upstairs dining room is great fo
Had a fun time listing to Kitty and the band on the deck, Music was excellent. Food was good, service was very good even with the place being very busy. Our server Tayler was able to keep up and did a very good job.

A warm delicious welcome awaits the minute you walk into this family run restaurant . The owners Louis and Fanny make you feel like you have just walked into their home. The amazing aromas coming from the kitchen make you want to order everything on the menu. The night I was there fish and chips was the special, fresh pickerel lightly battered with the crispy french fires, homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce...perfect finish to compliment this dish... but wait... dessert homemade fresh baked rhubarb pie, with a filling rich with flavors and a melt in your mouth flaky crust.. I cant wait to get back and try the Prime Rib special...

o is Ciboulette et Cie." Remember the vibrant flavours and a home-cooked meal? Though Canadian families have grown increasingly busy, few of us have forgotten how delicious a home-cooked meal can be. But who has time anymore? Ciboulette et Cie is here to
We drove to Midland specifically to have lunch here and the menu didn't disappoint. But (and it's a big but), nothing we had lived up to our expectations, based on the TA ratings. Although the texture was nice, the Tomato Bisque was absolutely bland and unexciting. The burger (admittedly without a bun) was so overcooked, it was difficult to eat - even covered in tomato and aoli. The veggie (beet) burger was apparently ok and the frites that accompanied the burgers were good. The ordered latte simply never arrived...... I doubt we will return or recommend it to others.Hello AnnL3177, Thanks for the post, sorry to hear that your experience with us wasn't up to par. Can I ask what date and what time of day you were in? If anything, the complaints you have are the complete opposite of what we usually hear; especially on the burger front. Feel free to reach out via email at [email protected] as I would love to hear more about your experience as well as see what we can do to make it up to you.

Really like the shortened menu that allows focus but also, no issue with choice. The food was great, staff friendly and a lot of effort being put into growing a wine list, which is nice to see for a change. they also allow corkage

If arriving by foot, we are on the east side of King between Yonge and Elizabeth. If driving, approach from Midland Ave. between Yonge and Elizabeth, free three hour parking in municipal lot.
We really enjoyed this unique restaurant We all had amazing food. Great selection and meet our different dietary needs. The waitress was very informative and inventive. She went above and beyond to serve us. We would definitely go there again when I the area. Thanks Kelly, see you next time!
