We went out with friends and had an incredible evening--the "appies" were phenomenal and the entries were excellent and I was totally impressed on how reasonable it was. I think Friday evenings are the best kept secret in the city!!!Youâre preaching to the choir Rglenn88, we think so too. So glad you enjoyed your night out, itâs what we strive for.

We tried to go for supper a couple weeks ago only to find out they close at 3pm ...didnât do our homework! Last weekend we went for brunch and what a great place it is! Itâs a pretty small place and very busy for a good reason! The service was really good and friendly like a small town where everyone knows everyone! My wife had a breakfast skillet and I had the bacon and poached eggs. Everything including the toast was cooked to perfection and tasted great plus the portions are generous! Nothing better than leaving an establishment feeling deliciously full and treated like a customer that matters! Itâs so amazing to find non-chain places like this! Itâs become our favourite breakfast joint!Iâm so glad you enjoyed your food and visit! Thatâs all I have aimed for in my 21 years of owning this little gem of a restaurant. Welcome and I hope I meet you one day.

This place is awesome! The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable about what on the menu. The meal we had was a 3+3 choice of 3 meats and 3 sides and it was the perfect size of portions for us to share and it was very delicious. We have ate at a lot of different BBQ restaurant all over North America and this one rates among the top 15 . I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a great meal.

First time visit. I cannot believe that I let this hidden gem go unnoticed. We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The service, food and atmosphere was excellent. The tables chairs and dinnerware reminded me of my grandmothers kitchen. Coffee was great as well. We will definitely return. Highly Recommended!!!

I have not eaten here for a very long time. Years! I was showing a client a home in the area and he suggested we go here for lunch. When we arrived I was shocked by the new digs! Very nice. Menu looked much the same. I ordered the special and a bowl of beet borscht. Wow, it was delicious! When I arrived home, I told my wife......âI am going to take you back for lunch!â I cannot figure out how it sits so low on the MH restaurant list. I have been to many of the higher ranked and they should not be there. Any way....that staff at The Zucchini Blossom for a really good experience! We will be back!!

Downstairs dining filled. Seated upstairs__winding stairway may be difficult for people with walking problems. Servers at buffet attentive and fast. Yes our upstairs loft room is popular for functions, and when it is reserved for private groups like yours we do try to ensure that everyone is able to manage the stairs. Passing through the Hat, we were pleasantly surprised to find this excellent restaurant that could compete in any major city in the world. The quality of the food, the creativity on the plate, the use of fresh local product, and turning out a gourmet level dining experience at a very fair price. The service was friendly and fun, the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. We will return to Medicine Hat just to dine again at the Rustic Kitchen. What a treat.

The steaks are always well prepared and flavorful. An added bonus is the nachos with a large selection of dips from which to choose. A pleasant dining experience with staff more appreciative than most other places.Thank you so much for joining us and for the review. We have been away for awhile but finally got back to our favourite place to eat in Medicine Hat, Ab the REDWOOD Steakhouse. My husband had made arrangements to have dinner for our Anniversary. He requested our favourite waitress PEGGY GRANT. We actually showed up an night early and she was wonderful. The next night as planned we again had Peggy for our waitress and had another amazing evening. Peggy was great ( she always goes above and beyond) and the food wonderful. The manager Amul stopped by to say Hi. He is very friendly and accommodating. Peggy and him make sure they always have a bottle of our favourite wine chilled.
