Masset /ˈmæsɪt/, formerly Massett, is a village in Haida Gwaii in British Columbia, Canada. It is located on the northern coast of Graham Island, the largest island in the archipelago, and is approximately 50 km (31 mi) west of mainland British Columbia. It is the western terminus of the Yellowhead Highway and is served by Masset Airport, with flights to Vancouver and Prince Rupert. During the Maritime Fur Trade of the early 19th century, Masset was a key trading site. It was incorporated as a village municipality on May 11, 1961.

We traveled from Skidegate for this well-known food truck in Masset. The drive was worth it. The Charter's restaurant is closed, however, a food truck took its place just right beside the previous establishment. The food truck has some interesting art that draws you in - hey there Stick man with a knife (LOL)! The waiting area is just comfortable enough for the bit of wait for the orders to complete. We noticed a bit of a line up when we arrived there - tourists and locals alike. We ordered delicious chicken wings, Elk Burger, and an Ahi Tuna Burger. A special shout-out to the staff: Despite being busy, they still accommodated my request to have the ahi tuna burger cooked to medium-well done, which was greatly appreciated. The chicken wings were not greasy and so good, and the burgers themselves were terrific! Price point, the items on the menu are fairly priced for the restaurant quality of food we got. We are definitely coming back here!

Iconic, Friendly. Upbeat. Memorable. Mile Zero Pub is known island-wide for its amazing food, and its menu has expanded recently to include fish and chips made with locally-caught halibut and salmon as well as crab dishes when it is seasonally available.

Even though this is the only place to eat in Masset it's still a good place to eat. I had the cheese burger with bacon and an egg it was very good. My wife had the chicken wrap which was ok. The drink special was good as well a heavy pour.

So if your really craving chinese food. This is as good as it gets around here....no other choices really.It's not awesome....but it's not awful either.....It's what I call a stop gap.
