I discovered this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my son. One of my sisters recommended the place strongly. It is a warm and friendly place. Most meals are cooked in the fireplace. All wines are private importation and natural. I went back 2 times and will go again. Warm, cozy, joyful.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is 5 star, service quality everything. This terrace literally has the best view in all of old montreal. We went during the day but its most spectacular at night time. Then ferris wheel tour in the distance is lit up at night and you can see the moonrise too over the water. Just a beautiful view at night. They have heat lamps over the bar itself. Plenty of seating. The staff was accomodating, friendly. The place is busy it seemed all the time, mid week afternoon or evening, i can see why, truly a great view. We had an appetizer the first day, the rest of the time, just drinks. Good selection.

Enjoyed a business lunch this past week at Cru. Oysters are heavily featured. I opted for the salmon tartare that was very enjoyable. The restaurant is a little pricey but the food is high quality. Service was friendly but not over the top.

Excellent mixed drinks with numerous options.Menu was non traditional..mac n cheese had well seasoned beef or 9ther meat options, calamari consisted of large pieces of the hood of the squid seasoned and prepared in a sauce on a bed of pureed cauliflower. The desert was unique and perfect. We loved this place. Pretty room, wonderful waiter and the food was incredible. I had the to-die-for piglet risotto with foie gras and the rack of lamb entrée - seriously the best food ever. My fr loved his food as well. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I looked on Trip Advisor to find a nice place to take my 97 year old Mother-in-Law and her grand-daughter out for a treat before we went to the Botanical Gardens. We all had the Brunch Specials, The Omelette, "Huevos Rancheros" and the Matane shrimp roll.The service was very friendly and while we were all speaking in French, the waitress broke into perfect English for about 15 seconds to describe how a dish was prepared then back into French to take the rest of our order. Grandma decided to have a glass of wine with her meal and the recommended white was greatly appreciated. I changed my order to the omelette after my guest asked for a description of the two egg centric dishes on offer. The Omelette; mozzarella, chanterelles, pesto, pickled beans dish was served on a slate with potatoes which very much seemed like the potato latkes of my Montreal childhood. A big meal â filling â and very delicious too.Grandma dug into a very generous shrimp roll with the type of frites that usually come with steak-frites. Grand daughter stated that the "Huevos Rancheros" were excellent and she was surprised at how generous a potion she received. I started with a coffee along with grand-daughter. It was terrible and grand-daughter said she'd had worse. On the whole a great meal to bolster our energies before making an afternoon at the Botanical Gardens.

Tried it for the first time, it is better than St-Hubert, but not as good as Cote St Luc BBQ. The chicken was OK, tasty, a little greasy, good fries and sauce, cole slaw was boring (all competitors are better). Service super fast, in and out in 5 minutes or less, and this while there were a half-dozen other customers. Good value for the money

Our experience may not be typical. Perhaps the waitress was having a bad day. Perhaps it is best to find another restaurant if you do not speak French. There are no English menus and the woman who seated us and took our orders did not seem pleased that she would have to translate things into English. There were many things on the menu that she did not have the translation for so we had to use translation apps on our phones. She was brusk with my family and we did not see much of her after she took our order.In contrast, the young girl who brought us our food and cleaned the tables was bright and kind. Although her English was limited (not as limited as our French) she helped to make our meal enjoyable.In further contrast, the food was outstanding. My braised beef was tender and succulent. The house made BBQ sauce was a little sweet for my taste, but my wife loved it. My wife's duck leg confit was perfect and my son's salmon was perfectly cooked.

Itâs our second time here and not disappointed at all!!! Best breakfast place ever. The coffee was amazing and really nice with a beautiful heart. The service is great to. Be prepared to wait before having a place but worth the wait!!! Will definitely be back!!!
