We are regulars at this restaurant. They have by far the best pizza in the entire area (nobody even comes close). Very well balanced, tasty, tons of ingredients and the sauce makes the pizza. However, it does not stop there. We've been ordering a variety of items from their menu lately and virtually all of the items are among the best. Don't hesitate to try their pasta, chicken brochettes, yero sandwiches (wow!) and probably the best hamburger steak that I've had. Cheers Lee!

The Auberge Willow Inn has opened its doors once again. An institution in Hudson since 1820, it has been a revered retreat for local and long-distance fans alike. With a breathtaking waterfront location along the Lake of Two Mountains, the Willow has nine
Since our last visit here, the Willow has gone downhill! We were three and had a long standing reservation. When we arrived, we were made to wait for about 15 minutes while the young lady handling arrivals in the main dining room was clearly at a loss as to where to put people before us (with NO reservation and that took forever!) We we did get some attention and requested an empty table by the window (as opposed to a similar one away from it..) the yound lady stauchly refused, indicating - after our insistence that no one was there - that "that table is reserved for the owner's nephew.."! R E A L L Y ! So we ac The WILLOW no more, thank you! cepted the "other table" as we were famished (otherwise we would have gone somewhere else!). Here again a disappointment: take-out food at HIGH prices: the fries were nearly burnt but the chicken club was somewhat acceptable - more than I can say for the price! There are much better - and cheaper - restaurants in Hudson but without the view (provided the owner's nephew hasn't got a monopoly on it...)! Another IRRITANT was that, in entering through the balcony (we were headed to the back open restaurant which we discovered was closed after walking all the way and going down a steep staircase (handicapped senior..). So when we came back and used the main entrance, a constructive criticism about IMPROVING this was very badly received by the receptionist = ATTITUDE!

Read some rave reviews about this restaurant's food and we were in the area so decided to try it. Huge menu with many choices and types of food is offered here. however, this often indicates that food will be acceptable, but certainly not gourmet fare. The atmosphere is comfortable (many booths - seating which I prefer for having both some privacy and comfort) and service was attentive, friendly and helpful throughout. After reading so many reviews of how great their pizzas are, I must say I was curious to try one, their "Special"(all dressed with bacon and onions added). It was certainly good, but I have had several excellent ones in Montreal over the years, which were somewhat better. Maybe, in fairness, it is the best pizza in Hudson? I substituted the green peppers for green olives - but this somehow made the pizza too salty. Perhaps a better class of olives should be used? Nice crust and very good pepperoni used. I liked that there were many choices of pizza sizes from which to choose. My friend had a filet of sole dish with hollandaise sauce, tomatoes and spinach, I believe. It sounded great but she found it much too bland. Desserts which came with her meal were uninspired - jello, rice pudding or a very commercial white cake with strawberry (jam) topping. Soft drinks also were too pricey at $3.00.Prices we found to be a little too steep for an "everything" place. A nice touch here is that you can bring your own bottle and you can sit and relax without feeling rushed out following your meal. I would return to try another type of meal.

Artisanal organic bakery + craft butchery + casual wine bar/restaurant. Open for lunch and dinner. Sourcing ethically raised, sustainable products from small QC farms.
Went to try this new restaurant in Hudson before a show at the Village Theatre. Small portion appetizers and unusual cuisine selections for main course. Quite noisy due to echo effect from bare walls, loud music and a Friday night. Maybe better for drinks and finger food after work. Our waitress asked to lower the volume of the music as we could not hear her descriptions of the menu.
The authentic and first Apple Shack in Quebec straigth from the family orchard. She propose a gourmet formula whit the land product is for the honor. Gourmet menu with land products ; Apples from the orchard, honey from own bee hive and maple syrup and co
The meal was super good and worth every penny, the portions where big and even got a doggy bag for leftovers. Splendid view on all the Apple Trees, just a great location. The service was great, and all with big smiles. We all had a great time. My suggestion is to have a little more space on the table to put all this great food. Their presentations are very nice, items are served on wooden planks. Again a little more room on the tables is all that is needed. The Onion soup is to die for and is served with Oka cheese. The Pea Soup also has their own touch of Maple, just great. We had smoked sausages , smoked ham, marinated maple pork, beans, fresh salad with a great homemade vinegrette. Super sized waffles with bacon and ham and apples. As for the desserts, ice cream with Maple Taffy, maple cheesecake, and pie.Lots of food !Very happy that you appreciated your experience. We take note of your kind comments.Thank you for having taken time to write your appreciation and in the pleasure to receive you again!

amazing ambiance, romantic yet kids friendly. you can reserve the whole restaurant to yourself if you are 30 guest or more and we will even offer you a special on our wine menu. The food is freshly done so it will take a bit longer to get to your table bu
Very nice decor with outside seating as well. Service was attentive but not overbearing.Menu had a wide variety of cuisines and excellent selection. Portions were generous and prices very reasonable. Peanut butter dumplings were exceptional. Fish and chips very tasty. Well cooked but not greasy. Live entertainment in the background without being overpowering. All in all, somewhere we look forward to returning. A side benefit is that it shares the parking lot with the Hudson Village Theater which is very convenient for theatergoers.

Part of the restaurant which, by the way, is a great restaurant. This is for all things ice cream. Great for whole family . A table to sit outside, very friendly staff. My only complaint is that the ice cream was so so. Had a cone with a scoop of cherry and chocolate brownie. I found it didn't have alot of flavor or creamy , something was missing. Anyway, just my impression . Still a nice outing

This business does close between the hours of 2pm and 5pm Tuesday-Sunday. Closed on Mondays
After seeing so many positive reviews I'm disappointed to say we did not have the same experience. We found the food lacking. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly but had no taste and the few roasted potatoes served with it and 3 pieces of broccoli didn't cut it. My wife had the lobster pasta, again there was no flavor, it was boring. After reading all the reviews we were expecting so much more. The charcuterie plate to start was just ok and overpriced at 25$. The ladies said the desert was really good. However for 115$ to leave hungry... not sure if we will return. The couple we were dining with had the same opinion. Also our reservation was at 6 and only after we arrived we were told we only had 2 hours and had to be gone by 8 so hurry up and order. That should have been made clear when we booked. We left at 820 and there were several tables available. What was the rush?
