This was not my first option but due to my primary option falling through I decided to try it. The young lady that took care of my order was very pleasant & nice. She is literally the best part of the restaurant. The decor...like your eating in a dirty garage. The food...you can tell that they try hard but it is a case of you get what you pay for. I would not go out of my way to go there again. The service...she was on top of everything and I have ZERO complaints about her. I suspect that it might be a family business otherwise she should go elsewhere and make better money with her level of customer service.

Was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Heritage Inn High River. Our room was large with two very comfortable beds, bathroom was fine, staff were friendly and helpful. Staff in the hotel bar and the Spitzee bar adjacent to the hotel were welcoming and helpful with recommendations on where to eat. Overall very happy and great value!

Our SteakhouseCasual restaurant and our irreverent urbanLODGE are both under the same roof. Experience one. Or the other. Or both. Family friendly dining, great food, games and fun.
The road house is decent, clean reasonably well lit, music not blaring. The first server who gave us our menus and then went into a routine as if he were auditioning for a comedy part. Mad e no sense nor rhyme. He spoke very quickly but we still did not find out the dish of the day,The menu is a good size one but with different varieties on different pages and large photos, had to navigate. The order were bruschetta, a hamburger and chicken pot stickers. Large portions with the hamburger covering the whole plate and no way to pick it up.The bruschetta and chicken pot stickers were fine.We waited a bit for the beverages and were almost finished with them before the lunches were served. Service was slow and the server was very good as compared to the seater. Thanks Ali for your reivew. We have talked to our host and done more training with him. He has a great sense of humor that just isn't for everyone. We like to have fun - but professional fun and in good taste! We appreciate the time you took to submit a review. We love hearing the good and the not so good - its how we improve.

The "Western Scramble"for $13 was a joke.About 2 eggs scrambled with tiny portion of ham/veggies with it, tiny portion of shredded hash browns on top of 2 slices of toast.VERY DISAPPOINTING SERVING SIZE FOR PRICE.The 1 Piece of Battered Fish, with Fries (ordered side of more fries instead of soup or salad, comes with meal).THE PIECE OF FISH WAS RIDICULOUSLY SMALL.This was $15!Caesar Salad, dinner size, $12.ALSO TOO SMALL FOR SERVING SIZE FOR PRICE.The "Strawberry Salad", $13, was a decent size for price. Tasty. All in all, SERVINGS TOO SMALL FOR PRICE, 3 out of 4 meals.Seriously, just because this Restaurant is at a "Golf Course", they obviously feel they canget away with such over-priced for under portion servings? This was our first visit at this restaurant, wanted to find a new place for our family to try.$62 before tip. 3 out of 4 only has water.WILL BE OUR LAST TIME.*The server was friendly, but she had long hair, which SHOULD have been TIED BACK/UP, for serving FOOD.

The washroom was about the worst Iâve seen anywhere in the world! Seriously, Iâd use a toilet in Ethiopia before High River Tim Hortons. Toilet paper on the floor, pee on the seat, even the sink was a disaster. If your employees canât look after the washroom guests can see, I wonder how the food prep I canât see is handled? Keep driving!

July 4th the customers keep coming in, why? Two things, it's a popular sports bar for the younger generation, and most important is the number of grey haired generation coming in for the wing night. My wife and I devoured forty wings and four sauces, the wings were fat and not skinny. Need a change for your dinner, Thursday is wing night at the Knee Deep. You will not be disappointed.

always like to go to Boston Pizza when in High River as there is an amazing waiter there by the name of Ryan. i asked for him but waitress told me he won't be back for four to six weeks - operation. Sad, but the waitress was very cordial so I said i would be staying for a quick bite anyway. Seated, coffee and beef barley soup (yummy) brought quickly, waitress very attentive (I apologize I forgot to her name). Had a chocolate cream cheese desert that starred at me throughout my meal which a dollar of went to a child's charity. I never have desert but this chocolate beauty was well worth the $4.95. Boston Pizza also has a new menu. Thank you BP for another great meal and experience.Hi, Lora. Thanks for the 5-star review. We're glad that you were impressed with the service you received and also that you really loved the chocolate cream cheese dessert. Thank you for sharing and we'll be looking forward to serving you again soon.

My husband and I were in High River to pick up a trailer and stopped in here for lunch and were very happy we did so. The location of this restaurant; being in an old train car just added to the appeal of our wanting to try it, along with the great reviews we'd read. It is quite small & very quaint; the tables are decorated with small vases of fresh flowers and candles & the staff were very friendly. Our food was served rather quickly being that the restaurant was quite busy on this particular Saturday in March. My husband had the BLT which he thought was very good and I had the Kajun Chicken Wrap which was very interesting with the sauce added to it. The bathroom is a little awkward and at the far back of the car, but nothing that was a determent from giving this top marks. Will be back when through High River again!

We had a very average and expensive meal at this restaurant for a birthday celebration. Two people ordered steak and 1 person had pizza. We started with 2 appetizers. All the food was average and expensive. For a steakhouse, there was nothing special about the steaks. The service was great and the food was hot, but that's about it. Menu was large with lots of selection.
