Normally we love this place - great sandwiches, yummy desserts and a very good selection of coffees and teas.Recently, we picked up 4 hot chocolate to take down the road - not more than a minute drive. When we got to our destination, we were all disappointed that the hot chocolate was barely lukewarm. We will go back, but if getting drinks to go, will check them before we leave.

At Pizza Delight, our pizzas are legendary because they are prepared with dough that we make fresh every day in our restaurants, our secret recipe pizza sauce, and the freshest toppings. Our Italian inspired menu has a variety of mouthwatering food that i
Nice, clean place, good service. Lasagna was tasty, supreme donar only mediocre. Pizza looked good on others tables, through. Ok to stop for dinner, but not for a special dinner.

Had a great breakfast omelette this morning. Very tasty, large portion. The home fires and the unique rye bread was a nice touch. Price was a little high but it had a nice quaint atmosphere. Seemed like there was only server but if you patience all good things come to those that wait.

Grand Bend's premier restaurant and patio serving Grand bend and the surrounding area. The only restaurant that allows you to dine along the river's edge!

We decided to take a day trip to Grand Bend. After walking up and down the strip, it was time to get some food. We had never tried the Growling Gator. It looked inviting because it was on the beach. We were immediately greeted and seated in a booth as requested.Looking through the menu. We realized it was a heavily drink-based restaurant. The first three or four pages showcased their beer, mixed drinks, piña coladas etc. We finally came to the food section and it was typical barfood. Nachos, burgers, sandwiches, poutine. Thereâs nothing wrong with that. Being a huge fan of burgers, I wanted to try a burger. My wife did the same.We each ordered cheeseburgers with coleslaw as the side. Our daughter ordered chicken fingers and fries and our son ordered poutine. As an appetizer, we ordered the calamari. It was not the traditional ring-shaped that we have been used to in the past. So we were pleasantly surprised. Our mains arrived. We were very disappointed to take a bite of our burgers and realized it was a frozen, generic patty. Normally I wouldnât care. However, the price he charged is not worth what they served. The best part, Iâm sorry to say, was the cheese and the bacon.Should we do decide to return, I know not to order a burger and perhaps stick to appetizers. And the lesson learned is, if youâre going to order a burger ask if they are fresh or frozen patties. All in all, it was great service, great atmosphere but not worth the price.

Family owned and operated - we have been here for generations! Our menu is very diverse with a focus to source local and have a healthier edge. Speaking of local, check our our draft beer!
A lot of options for local products. Kombucha, Smoothies, waffles, etc. There is a small store at the entrance with very nice and well made food / beverage. 5 star for sure. Make a reservation!

We had dinner with good friends celebrating our wedding anniversary. Our reserved table was waiting for us. Each of us had pretty much the same entree: Salmon, which was done to perfection. The sides were delicious. The salad crisp, crunchy, and with a superb dressing. The service was impeccable. We even had desserts, which we shared, but they were spectacular. And, we were able to eat, unrushed, and leave in time to take in a play at Huron Country Playhouse.F.I.N.E. really lives up to its name: It really is a FINE dining place. It is not very large, maybe 8 tables or so. But everything is just so, and delicious.

We visit regularly when we come to Grand Bend from our cottage near Bayfield. Fish and Chips are perfect. Have sampled Garlic Parmesan fries, French Onion soup and a variety of flavours of wings - all good. Nice selection of local beers. Service is friendly and helpful.

A return visit for us because we were impressed the first time. Not so happy this time. Of the 4 meals served to our group, 2 were excellent and 2 were disappointing. The burger and fries were excellent. As were the chicken tenders and fries. Good sized portions, nicely cooked and delicious. The fish tacos were not fish tacos. Like so many places, they serve a deep fried and battered lump of fish on a tortilla and think thatâs a fish taco. Itâs not. The Sesame Lo Mein Salad from the âFreshâ section of the menu was a generous serving of cold noodles with sauce and a tiny sprinkling of vegetables and not even all the vegetables from the menu description included - not at all what you would expect given the menu description. It was not a fresh salad. It was a plate of cold noodles. So a good place to go for the safe stuff like burgers and chicken fingers. Think twice about the more creative items. We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your meal choices. We would love to have you here again, and next time please ask for a manager as one of us is always available. We want our guests to leave happy and satisfied.
