The food at breakfast and dinner was first class. The staff allowed us full access to all the menus, from the restaurant and bar, when we were eating at off times. We thank you for taking time to provide such good feedback. We look forward to your return to Elements on Hollis.

The portions are fantastic, the service is fast and friendly, and the prices are very good. This isn't a fancy restaurant, but based on how busy they are lots of others feel the same as I do that it offers a great meal for a great price. Arrive early as prime dining times are very busy.

Went here for the crobster and to see what it looks like inside. We went to little C. The crobster was delicious. We sat outside facing the sidewalk and watched the people. It was awesome. Great place to go. My daughter had a chocolate chip cookie which I tasted and was also delicious. Was so cool to visit somewhere the from the Big Food Bucket List. The service was great. We used the washrooms which was also nice inside and decorated nicely. Thanks for coming in! People watching on Portland is one of our favourite spots to sit. Hope to see you again soon!

There were three of us and we all enjoyed the seafood dinners. The preparation of the food was superbly presented and cooked. The service was attentive, courteous, and fun. Highly recommend this place for a premium dining experience.

Glad we went based on reviews. Staff was super friendly and great decor. Scallops and crab cakes were delicious. Halibut was great, if youâre a fan of pesto. Definitely recommend it for dinner.

If you want fresh, locally-sourced food served in a casual atmosphere among friends, Rhubarb is it. Operators, Jim and Diane Buckle care a lot about their food and their customers and it shows. Together, they have crafted a tasty array of seasonal, value-
We had a group of 7 traveling from Halifax, they didn't have any space inside so we sat on the patio. It was a bit chilly but they had nice fuzzy blankets out there to wrap up in if needed. The smell coming from the kitchen of this place was amazing and even though we only stopped in for drinks, we ended up ordering one of the days pizza specials and it was so delicious, I could have ate one by myself instead of sharing! Great service, huge selection of beer and cider, great food!

Eliot & Vine is a casual dining restaurant in the North end of Halifax. Our main dining room features banquette window seating, a marble bar, and a cozy atmosphere. The semi-private Frolic Room is great for more intimate evenings, with an exquisite mural
Iâve had a few dishes here, but the Brussels sprouts are what stands out....they are so very tasty. Iâve gone back a number of times and always have the sprouts. The service, atmosphere and food are terrific.Thank you for such a kind review, Liv! Our Brussel sprouts are certainly a fan favourite. Hopefully we'll see you again sometime to try something new!

Welcome to our family restaurant! We are now open for the season. With the wonderful support from our community and guests from away, we are entering our 24th year of service. My husband is known for his delicious, thin battered, and crispy English style
This restaurant was recommended to us since we were visiting Digby, so we had to try it. The Scallops were delicious! I had the pan-fried scallops with mashed potatoes and everything was delicious. The pan-fried fish was delicious as well. It doesn't look like it would be an awesome restaurant from the outside, but it is definitely worth visiting. People kept coming in, so it's a popular place for a reason!

The restaurant has such a lovely atmosphere. Very quiet and romantic. The food is just so good. Appetizer was crab cakes. It had huge chunks of crab plus the base included great shrimp. Mains were tuna and duck. The tuna was so tender and tasty. It has been quite a while since I had such fabulous tuna and it was cooked perfectly. The duck was very rich and flavourful. Great wine to go with both meals. All the prices of food and wine are so reasonable for the high quality. Our server, Kelsey, added so much to the evening. She is extremely personable and delivers outstanding service. Kelsey is a real asset to the restaurant and certainly makes you want to return.Thank you for taking the time to post this review.I am pleased to hear you enjoyed our food, wine and service. Kelsey is a great front of house leader and recently earned her WSET Level 1 award for wine service and knowledge. We hope to serve you again soon!Sincerely,Robert PrettyOwner, The Halliburton HotelHalifax, Nova Scotia

Our restaurant uses all local fresh seafood including Lobster, Scallops, and Haddock, or if you prefer have a steak cooked to perfection. All our dishes are made fresh everyday to order, enjoy a glass of wine or beer and watch the fishing boats return to
Checked into the hotel on a drive down the south shore. Hotel had just opened for the season and there was only one other room occupied while we were there.Lady at the front desk very friendly. We were upgraded to the second level with larger beds and a better view. The room was large and a little dated, but what a view of the water! We left the curtains open all night to enjoy it.Beds were firm, with decent bedding and pillows. We had a room where the bathtub and surround looked quite new. Lots of hot water for a bath. There was also a mini fridge in the room.We did not eat in the restaurant and the indòor pool was not heated up enough to enjoy. Our night was quiet and checkout was quick. I did enjoy my stay in Digby and would recommend this hotel. Good value.
